The rocks from space will bring clouds, rain and all the other effects dust causes in the atmosphere. When depends upon how the objects cross the Earths path.

duncan124:
So Foo fighters were a side-effect of German weapons.

From the Wiki;- "The first sightings occurred in November 1944, when pilots flying over Western Europe by night reported seeing fast-moving round glowing objects following their aircraft. The objects were variously described as fiery, and glowing red, white, or orange. Some pilots described them as resembling Christmas-tree lights and reported that they seemed to toy with the aircraft, making wild turns before simply vanishing. Pilots and aircrew reported that the objects flew formation with their aircraft and behaved as if they were under intelligent control, but never displayed hostile behavior. However, they could not be outmaneuvered or shot down. The phenomenon was so widespread that the lights earned a name – in the European Theater of Operations they were often called "Kraut fireballs", but for the most part called "foo-fighters". The military took the sightings seriously, suspecting that the mysterious sightings might be secret German weapons, but further investigation revealed that German and Japanese pilots had reported similar sightings.[9]

On 13 December 1944, the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force in Paris issued a press release, which was featured in the New York Times on the next day, officially describing the phenomenon as a "new German weapon". Follow-up stories, using the term "Foo Fighters", appeared in the New York Herald Tribune and the British Daily Telegraph.[10]

In its 15 January 1945 edition, Time magazine carried a story entitled "Foo-Fighter", in which it reported that the "balls of fire" had been following USAAF nightfighters for over a month, and that the pilots had named it the "foo-fighter". According to Time, descriptions of the phenomena varied, but the pilots agreed that the mysterious lights followed their aircraft closely at high speed.[11]

The "balls of fire" phenomenon reported from the Pacific Theater of Operations differed somewhat from the foo fighters reported from Europe; the "ball of fire" resembled a large burning sphere which "just hung in the sky", though it was reported to sometimes follow aircraft. On one occasion, one of the gunners of a B-29 aircraft hit one with gunfire, causing it to break up into several large pieces that fell on buildings below and set them on fire.[citation needed] There was speculation that the phenomena could be related to the Japanese fire balloon campaign. As with the European foo fighters, no aircraft were reported as having been attacked by a "ball of fire".[12]

The postwar Robertson Panel cited foo fighter reports, noting that their behavior did not appear to be threatening,.."

"Third most energetic meteor of the year recorded over Reunion and Mauritius"TheWatchers.

"A very bright fireball was observed over the islands of Reunion and Mauritius islands at 14:10 UTC on September 25, 2018. Its calculated total impact energy is 1.9 kt, making it the third most energetic meteor since the start of the year and 48th on record." TW

Did 2018TC go past on the 30th of September at 0.8 LD or did SW update its data after the Reunion report??

Fog Swept Glade
Fog Swept Glade: In adulthood my eyes followed a satallite that slowly made a turn for the west when it was headed east, in the north sky. At that altitude it must have been very fast. Maybe the sun was just right & reflected perfectly or a jet just picke up where it disappeared. A glowing triangle to my north that I tried to dismiss as a street light that couldn‘t be a halo on my glasses. Then, my brain has been tampered with & my eyes too. It is somewhat possible that my eyes had not adjusted to the brighter illumination outside. Once I glanced up through the chemical cloud of a high way being paved & saw 3 colors, of the aurora borealis that were stationary. It doesn‘t bother me that a sissy may have said these things I would find in advance, the south is much riper for viewing than the north & walking east to sniff roadways just wouldn‘t be feasable for such a plan as his to work.

"A bright fireball was recorded over Florida at 02:20 UTC on October 7, 2018 (22:20 EDT, October 6). The event lasted 3 - 4 seconds.

The leading edge of this, I believe bollard, was white, following that was a somewhat of a green irregularly shaped conic tail, about 5 to 7 degrees in length, and for 2 or 3 degrees after this was an orange, roundish almost burning-fire looking area. Behind that was a whitish almost vapor trail formation. As our view was watching an object that came from behind and right, and was traveling away from our perspective and slightly left, I would argue that this trail was more noticeable due to being backlight the fireball," one Ormond Beach resident told AMS." The Watchers says it missed.

"A newly discovered asteroid designated 2018 UA flew past Earth at a very close distance of about 0.04 LD / 9.14e-5 AU (15 360 km / 9 544 miles) above Earth's surface. This is the closest known asteroid to flyby Earth since the start of the year and 4th closest on record. Interestingly, this object was discovered about 90 minutes before its close approach. At best, it would produce a nice fireball and small meteoroids.

This object belongs to the Apollo group of asteroids. Its estimated diameter is between 2.5 and 5.5 m (8 and 18 feet).

2018 UA, previously known as ZU1CE58, was first observed at Catalina Sky Survey on October 19, about 90 minutes before its closest approach at 14:46 UTC today." The Watchers.

Meteor over Spain 2nd November 2018.

"A very bright North Taurid meteor event was spotted over the south of Spain at 23:46 UTC on November 2 (00:46 local time, November 3). The meteor was brighter than the full Moon.

The object is believed to be produced by a fragment from Comet Encke that hit the atmosphere at about 110 000 km/h.

The meteor overflew the Mediterranean Sea and the province of Almeria. It began at an altitude of about 122 km (76 miles) and ended at a height of around 63 km (39 miles).

The meteor was recorded in the framework of the SMART project (University of Huelva) from the meteor-observing stations located at La Hita (Toledo), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada) and Sevilla." The watchers

Spaceweather ventures into UFOology.

"DID AN ALIEN LIGHT SAIL VISIT THE SOLAR SYSTEM?: It sounds like a tabloid headline, but in this case it could be real. Mainstream researchers from the Harvard Center for Astrophysics have made the case that interstellar asteroid 'Oumuamua could in fact be an alien light sail. Their original research was posted Oct. 31st on the moderated preprint server arXiv.org.... " Spaceweather.
