Unidentified Flying Objects (Page 7)
Otterwalks has spotted another " Heater Event " or radar anomaly at Broome Australia on the 28th of May 2018.
You have to scroll down a bit to see the post. Past the scary pictures of military lasers, Otterwalks gets my support for these posts about the secret weapons activity and I think most people today will see these things as incredible monsters.
Adapt 2030 has a new post publicly doubting the findings of research into the weather patterns!
It will be interesting to see where these two beasts go with their own ideas.
Thats right Stephy, but UFOologists on the Internet are often ignoring the truth and not looking for anything real anyway to judge from the things they say.
Fireball explodes over Russia. 21st June '18.
The video includes shots of the smoke trail which may help observers other times.
" Bright fireball over the Netherlands, 112 reports submitted to IMO ". The Watchers.
Comet PanSTARRS C/2017 S3 explodes.
duncan124: The Watchers claim a Brazilian fireball.
" A bright fireball was recorded streaking across the night sky over the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil at 01:35 UTC on July 8, 2018. The object was visible for several seconds before it disintegrated in a bright flash. It is possible some pieces survived the entry. However, even if something did manage to survive, it's at the bottom of the ocean now."
Comet C/2017 S3 explodes again.
"UNPREDICTABLE GREEN COMET: On July 1st, Comet PANSTARRS (C/2017 S3) exploded. Its green atmosphere ballooned in size, large enough to swallow Jupiter twice, and its brightness increased 16-fold. Barely a week later, the comet fizzled, dimming almost as much as it had brightened. Then it exploded again! On July 15th Comet PanSTARRS regained all it had lost and more. Michael Jaeger of Jauerling, Austria, captured the comet's newly-formed tail on July 20th:" Spaceweather.
Bright meteor over Spain.
"A bright meteor was recorded streaking across the night sky over Spain at 03:28 UTC on July 19, 2018. The event lasted up to 7 seconds before the object disintegrated.
The meteor was recorded over Andalusia at 05:28 local time. It was produced by a fragment from a comet that hit the atmosphere at about 80 000 km/h.
The fireball began at an altitude of around 95 km (59 miles) over the province of Granada and ended at a height of about 43 km (27 miles) over the province of Almeria.
The object was recorded by the meteor observing stations operating in the framework of the SMART Project from the astronomical observatories of Calar Alto, La Sagra, La Hita, Huelva and Sevilla." TheWatchers.
A July 17th meteor over Spain.
Has the Med become a path for fireballs and meteors? Or are they just more observed there?
An idea is that they have something to do with magnetic north and as that has shifted quite abit the potental course of these falling objects has also rotated around the pole.
"Mystery surrounds Arctic Siberia as day turns to complete darkness for 3 hours" Thewatchers.
"The darkness was pitch black. It didn’t come at once but grew gradually. The Sun was gone from 11:30 until 14:00."
Spaceweather has n't much cheer either.
Abusive tone hides a good idea to search Nullschool.
So that's what I did and it seems to be still there.
As it seems to have split in two I guess it is something to do with the crater-like vents and not two large fires.
Indeed, clicking back on the three day button shows that the carbon monoxide clouds came before the 24th and went away completely and have only returned in the last few days.
So it appears this is a collection of gas from all around by a very large geographical feature and not a local source. Have a look at the winds and how they follow the landscape and even blow away from one smaller bay.
I looked again yesterday and today and it is still there on Nullschool . The amount of particles seems to have increased and as well as the other gases.
It seems to be a natural phenomenon with maybe a risk of explosion.
Old SO was not available via its webpage yesterday.
Meantime, over at Spaceweather.com....
"A BRIGHT METEOR OVER GREENLAND: Some media outlets are reporting a meteor strike near the USA's Thule Air Base in Greenland on July 25th. Why hasn't the US Air Force said anything about it? Probably because the impactor was a fairly routine space rock--not a nuclear missile. "Bad Astronomer" Phil Plait lays out the facts in this excellent article." Spaceweather.com 04.08.18
The former USA only retained responsibility for contamination at its former airforce site in Greenland. They had spilled radioactive materials, crashed a bomber and the manure was pilling up all the time. So the US agreed to install a radar site to watch the environmental effects but that was decommissioned after it was found satellites could do the job better.
So what else do we know....?
Radiation from space in bright sunlight falling on the oceans causes them to give off gases including carbon mon and dioxide.
That is exactly what we saw building up along coastlines on Nullschool and in pockets inland.
Spaceweather goes on to talk about "DYING COMET PANSTARRS: Comet PanSTARRS (C/2017 S3) was supposed to become a naked-eye object
...in August as it swooped past the sun closer than Mercury. It's not going to happen. Instead of brightening the icy comet, fierce solar heat is destroying it."
So what do we know...?
The Sun's energy has diminished and so Comet Panstarrs (C/2017 S3) must have driven into something to make it explode.
Unidentified flying clouds --bring firm if not heavy rain and MOD sorties. I saw the jet fighters driving along the coast and of course noticed the rain. But I am not sure the strangely sudden and heavy rainfall was not at least altered un-naturally.
Spaceweather changes its mind and claims it saw a NEO on the 10th of August at 0.1 lunar distance.
About the same time as the change in the weather.
""The flash from this extremely bright fireball on Aug. 12th surprised dozens of observers in and around the Kolonica Observatory," says Horálek. "It was so bright, the landscape lit up as if under a crescent Moon. The debris trail (inset) was visible for more than one hour after the fireball appeared in the sky. What a great Perseids peak this year!"" Spaceweather.com
The Perseids were again mostly obscured by cloud in the UK this year.
"A very bright fireball was seen streaking through the night sky over the Adriatic Sea at 18:56 UTC (21:56 CET) on August 18, 2018. The event lasted more than 3 seconds before the object disintegrated near San Marino in northeastern Italy." Thewatchers
Nullschools video of six week Carbon monoxide clouds.
It looks just like gas in a test tube and not like the more complex arrangements Nature usually manages.
Nullschool also has a year video from 2016 which also shows distinct blobs in Siberia.
duncan124: Asteroid 2018 QR1 flew past Earth at 0.23 LD. Despite all the maths, is that one coming back??
Otterwalks has spotted another Radar Anomaly in Australia on the 4th of Sept. Of course, radar errors or malfunctions look exactly like unexplained overloads from objects. But with all the strong weather Australia has been having some anomalies were expected.
