One of those things. They have a monitoring system in case someone attempts this- clearly the monitoring system failed, but the fact that it exists kinda implies that people can overwhelm the signal- that its not impossible for people to do it.

There's been umpteen pranks in the UK about NAILIENS over the past 40 odd years "crop circles" "flying saucers with earthly components" and hijacking one signal in one part of the UK does not constitute intelligent thinking because we did not get that transmission in Scotland and we have the ITN network broadcasting here.If I remember correctly the police force investigated the incident and all fingers pointed to a group of students majoring in electronics interfering with the transmitter station.I also agree with the point why do these hoaxes always speak English ?.
