chronology: ArnotoNyx. Interesting but it may be interesting for you to consider the words of Dr Billy Graham one time. He would try his best to avoid all the disputes and arguments over this and that and remind people that if they really were interested in the message of Jesus Christ and what He had to say, then just go straight to the Bible and read John's Gospel and consider what Jesus was saying to people.
Like Dr Graham would say John 3.16 is a very clear statement of what Jesus was saying in His call to people to repent and turn to Him. Dr Graham always warned people that Jesus was very clear of the deadly consequences of not acting on His warning to mankind. 'Hell' is a grim final destination.

It only takes 20 seconds to read John 3.16.

That was the simple message of Dr Billy Graham. If you want to argue about child sexual abuse or Gay Rights, or the suppression of women, or racism etc etc, fine, But Dr Billy Graham avoided all those arguments and simply spoke the Gospel.

AretoNyx: It is nice people look up to human leaders and human written communication among other media. However humans even without such media can have altruistic nature about them to know to help a child no matter the fears for themselves.

To neglect or abuse children in fear of hell because human leaders tell you really should be no excuse. Especially when it leads to preventable death of a child.

AretoNyx: Chronology did you know there are hell's and heavens of variation in many stories besides Abrahamic religious sects? There is differences in dogma and what is interpreted to what gets a person out of hell or saves them from it. I already know these things.

AretoNyx: There are cults out there dedicated to let children die of illness. Christian Scientist cult for one. Special treatment for neglect and murder at times, but thankfully not always.
Many cults that cause harm and ignored after a while. I do expect more to make excuses to harm in freedoms to do so. Sad thing really for the here and now.

chronology: True enough aretonyx, but like Dr Graham said one time man has tried everything to save himself and society. But there is only one way that can lead you safely back to God, and that is looking to the Cross of Jesus Christ and calling Him into your heart and asking Him to save you.

If I do good and still sent to hell for such even with out choosing being Mormon verses Catholic verses Baptist ...whatever else ...then that is fine. I am okay with not seeking to escape life and beg for a better death. To be thankful where I am now and find joy in the moment.
