yeahcomeon
yeahcomeon: Leo, Issac, Einstein, all brilliant men, but my top pick would have to be Tesla.
He supposedly created a machine to supply abundant free energy to the world. Sadly, this project was terminated by unspecified "powers that be".
Quoted from : Wireless Electricity Of Nikola Tesla, by Melvin D. Saunders....

Tesla culminated his efforts in a major breakthrough in 1899 at Colorado Springs by transmitting 100 million volts of high-frequency electric power wirelessly over a distance of 26 miles at which he lit up a bank of 200 light bulbs and ran one electric motor! With this souped up version of his Tesla coil, Tesla claimed that only 5% of the transmitted energy was lost in the process. But broke of funds again, he looked for investors to back his project of broadcasting electric power in almost unlimited amounts to any point on the globe. The method he would use to produce this wireless power was to employ the earth's own resonance with its specific vibrational frequency to conduct AC electricity via a large electric oscillator. When J.P. Morgan agreed to underwrite Tesla's project, a strange structure was begun and almost completed near Wardenclyffe in Long Island, N.Y. Looking like a huge lattice-like, wooden oil derrick with a mushroom cap, it had a total height of 200 feet. Then suddenly, Morgan withdrew his support to the project in 1906, and eventually the structure was dynamited and brought down in 1917.
Other inventions of Tesla include;
Tesla coil
Tesla turbine
Teleforce
Tesla's oscillator
Tesla electric car
Tesla principle
Tesla's Egg of Columbus
Alternating current
Induction motor
Rotating magnetic field
Wireless technology
Particle beam weapon
Death ray
Terrestrial stationary waves
Bifilar coil
Telegeodynamics
Electrogravitics

Blackshoes: Newton ,Testa , Louis Pasteur, Alexander Fleming My list is just to long to post them all

Fleming was modest about his part in the development of penicillin, describing his fame as the "Fleming Myth" and he praised Florey and Chain for transforming the laboratory curiosity into a practical drug. Fleming was the first to discover the properties of the active substance, giving him the privilege of naming it: penicillin.

deacon7771: I guess I am just so ignorant about scientific achievement, but the names that jumped forward in my mind when I thought about "scientific geniuses" were Allan Turing, and Bruno Giardano.

Both were geniuses, both were horribly underappreciated and treated terribly by ignorant fools who just could not tolerate them. Bruno was burned at the stake by order of the Pope because he said the earth orbited the sun, and UNLIKE Galileo he would not retract his observations, he could have lived, but died for the truth.

Allan Turing was clearly a genius, his work is generally acknowledged to have shortened World War Two by at least six months, thus saving thousands of lives. He was a homosexual, and he was treated as though he was a horrible monster by the very people whose lives he may have saved. Chemically castrated by order of the court, and denied his access to classified research, he probably committed suicide but some of his family say he accidentally ingested cyanide. The "Apple Computer" logo of a rainbow apple with a single bite taken out of it is in memory of Alan Turing, who died in his private laboratory after eating an apple with cyanide on it. I personally believe it was suicide caused because he was depressed, he was too good of a scientist to have such an "accident" as to not remember he was working with cyanide poison on gloves, who eats an apple for lunch without first removing his chemist's gloves?

Nicola Tesla died very poor, also another great genius who was treated very poorly.

kittybobo34: Was at an exhibit for Leonardo Da Vinci, and noticed allot of what he invented also appeared in old Roman engineering documents. I think that he must have found some old Roman documents and learned much of that he needed through them.

Blackshoes: Modern Man worships Money and Power . No different than ancient Man !
The Truth is never Superstitious ! Only a blind man claims he knows of something which he claims is not real .
Isaac Newton as many a Genius Believed in the existence of God
Only a fool rejects a fact , All things are made from things unseen .

Hebrews 11:3

3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Odd How so many think themselves wise today , never seeing themselves in a mirror as having so much faith in ignorance, and arrogances' always believing themselves seers .All the time never accepting the truth' that's been right in front of them all the wile

Evelyn99: Hard to compere them. For me I will say Einstein because he had no formal education and his theories are also beautiful like Beethoven’s music. More it is said to be the single highest achievement comprehended by a single mind in all history of humanity. Funny enough I told an old lady this at a cafe as she looked nice. She turned white of anger and whispered in my ear that shitt like him should have died in Aushwitz. I used the rest of my day to get over that. Never meet a old school nazi before yikes
