"it's not supernatural, its nature itself" (Page 3)

Zanjan: YOU quoted the dictionary, not me.

Lots of people have seen the Flying Dutchman too, but not anymore because young people don't even know what that's about.

My client loves haunted houses. She wanted me to take her to a local live theater house because they say some actor killed himself there and his ghost sits in the balcony sometimes, just watching the stage. She had hoped to see the ghost. I didn't have the heart to tell her that's the musical 'Phantom of the Opera".

Zanjan: When my younger sister was in her late 20's, she began having occasional seizures, about once every couple of months. Since she was familiar with my psychic abilities, she called me on the phone and asked me if I was doing that to her. Obviously, I had to be the first to blame. I suppose that's how the witch hunts got started.

Well, I didn't answer her. Sometimes silence is the best way to treat people who don't want to look at themselves. I've known her since the day she was born - whenever she got upset about something, usually because she wasn't getting what she wanted, she'd cry and hold her breath until she passed out - easy when you're asthmatic.

It was clear to me that her own stress was triggering her seizures but she wasn't the sort to hear what my answer would have been. Finally, she went to a doctor, who diagnosed her with epilepsy and put her on medication. Quicker than learning to deal with stress triggers.

She belonged to the instant fix crowd. Like her mother, she turned into an alcoholic, became an atheist and lost her own soul. Nothing supernatural about it. Wish it had been.

lestatnine: I own a number of copyrights on how a person can become a ghost with a pulse.
Biologically it seems there is no accommodation for it so the act of existence must be relearned/ things stop working properly on a biological level. Although it seems to just be a simple flaw in our "caution sensor" it's without debate the coolest thing there is.
