jak1735: Many seek the face of a ruler,
but it is from the Lord that a man gets justice.

jak1735: This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command you. John 15 12-14

jak1735: I long for your salvation, Lord,
and your law gives me delight.
175 Let me live that I may praise you,
and may your laws sustain me.
176 I have strayed like a lost sheep.
Seek your servant,
for I have not forgotten your commands.

jak1735: You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.

jak1735: For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

jak1735: “You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above.

jak1735: Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again.[a] The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

jak1735: I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

jak1735: 1 Timothy 6:17

17 Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
