Theodicies. Have the Christians any answers to the problem of evil? (Page 4) That wasn't in the question. So you agree that it would be irrational to choose to be irrational. In which case being irrational isn't a choice, so why am I irrational? There isn't a perfect God to reject. Now explain how I can make an irrational decision if I am rational. it doesn't matter if it was in the question or not, you could rationally decide to be irrational--there is a logical scenario in which it is logically valid. re: "being irrational isn't a choice" That ^^ is bad/faulty logic. People have the free will to decide to be irrational & actually are often irrational by choice--it happens every day. Smokers & atheists are a perfect examples. (Edited by zeffur) It is a thought experiment, Zeffur. The parameters are fixed. You cannot introduce extraneous conditions. Let me make the parameters clear. I will change the subject to prevent further 'misunderstanding' You are a perfect being in a perfect world possessed of perfect relevant knowledge. In what possible way could you make an irrational choice? Your logic is faulty. People make irrational decisions every day. People are created Spiritually perfect, but they do not remain Spiritually perfect. That is a reality. Your thinking is not logical. Only God is ALWAYS perfect. Nature has no intelligence or capability to originate life/DNA & all the whole life forms that have existed on earth. We've studied nature for generations & that is a known & indisputable FACT! That means abiogenesis & evolution are 100% false. Nature has no intelligence or capability to originate life/DNA & all the whole life forms that have existed on earth. We've studied nature for generations & that is a known & indisputable FACT! That means abiogenesis & evolution are 100% false. An intelligence creator is necessary for life to exist--we've known about that creator for millennia. (Edited by zeffur) Oh double dear, Zeffur.
