Demonic Possession

yippeskippy: I've never known anyone who has manifested a demon. But, I do know people that when they are around me for some reason they get really upset and irritable for no apparent reason. Then they just blow up.

Schizophrenia and Epilepsy has often been mistaken for demonic possession. Dabbling in the darker aspects of magic could also bring about a manifestation, but I think in those cases its more oppression than possession.

A person with light inside cannot be possessed by dark forces. However they can be influenced by them. I've had my dark moments in life, and its not easy to refocus your energy and pull resources from within if you are not at peace with yourself.

I don't understand the fascination people have with possession, other than they want a connection with something 'supernatural'.

There is a disatisfaction with belief systems as people become more aware that much of what they believed was fabricated, so instead of connecting spiritually with hope, they connect by confronting their fears of things that go bump in the night.

Actually, I'm almost at that point myself. I grew up religious and even have a religion degree. However, the last 10 years I have found myself falling far away from my faith and bordering on agnostic. Part of me thinks, God doesn't seem real to me, but if I experience the demonic which seems to show itself in its true form quite frequently, than that will be proof of the opposite, that there is God and that He does work. Sounds a little backwards, doesn't it?

MJ59: All the god botherers on here tell me I'm a devil worshipper and possessed by demons cos I'm an atheist....does that count?

gbox1: I haven't yet, yippe. To be frank, if the devil knows I'm struggling spiritually, I think the last thing he'd want to do is validate my faith. Who knows!

I'm sorry for your struggles. It's possible you are just getting to a point where things don't add up. Or, you are just not 'feeling' spiritual?

chronology: 'Demons' have not heard them mentioned for some time. First let's clear up what Demons are. After leaving Eden humans became prey to some sex obsessed race of beings referred to as 'the sons of God'. The SOG enjoyed raping any human woman they wanted to. Pretty soon there were millions of freakish looking half humans running around. These are the Nephilim. Between 50000 years ago and 12000 years ago these being dominated the earth. They set up fake religion's, had a global economy, and by all accounts reduced the earth to a violent slum land that was filled with murder and perversion.
But the Nephilim life span was around the same as the human lifespan at the time and soon they were dieing off in their millions. But there is a problem for these being's. They are genetically corrupted due to their Alien father's. Even when they die they may loos their problems with genetics, but their psychic make up is also corrupted. And they can not follow the usual route all dead humans and animals take after death. Instead the dead Nephilim become 'Earthbound Spirits'. They are trapped here on earth and have become known as Demons. They crave the opportunity to inhabit humans, also to continue doing what they did as Nephilim, killing and torturing humans.

So that is what Demons are. Can you ever see Demons manifesting? Well the most important rule among the millions of such beings in the spirit world is that they do not reveal any proof at all of either themselves or any life after death. To do so is to strengthen the faith of anyone who witnessed such proof.

Schizophrenia symptoms are virtually identical to some kinds of Demon activity, but the vast majority of Demon like activity is nothing like schizophrenia.

Demon possession usually happens after people have opened up a link with the Demon in the form of Ouija Boards séances or Tarot etc. But curiously the most common Demon route into a person is via sex. During sex a link identical to the Ouija link is formed and from the moment you had sex with the other person the Demon has entry into your body and mind. First Nation Americans have ceremonies to banish such spirits. So if you think a role in the sack has caused you problems, paying for a healing ceremony with a First Nation Medicine Man would probably be the best money you ever spent.

yippeskippy: I have heard of Spiritual Transference through sex. There is also spiritual transference through objects and even by physical contact. I'm also thinking a link might also be open through music as well. I'm not exactly sure how the latter dynamic works. It can be both demonic and angelic.

In most religions music plays a role the seems to create an environment conducive to spiritual activity. For example in churches. I've never seen a church that didn't have a worship service that made people more receptive to the sermon. Pentecostals and Baptists used to shake and speak in 'tongues'. I've also witnessed ceremonies during Muharram where music is played by the Shiite muslims and it works them into a frenzy where they just start hitting themselves and slicing their own backs with small knives attached to a rod by string.

If I'm not mistaken Marilyn Manson's music was blamed for Columbine shootings, due to 'violent influences'.

chronology: It is the rhythm of the music that attracts various demons.

For example the sound of some Emergency Alarms will attract most people. Either to flee a building, or to attend a automobile alarm. Demons are also attracted to certain types of rhythm.

Most likely it is just nostalgia for their past music in the Pre Flood world. Although the hypnotic beat of many types of music is well known.
