Zanjan: There will be signs in the earth and in the heavens. If one is looking for direction (something on which to base an important decision) one sign is hardly enough.

Ours is to match the right sign to the right event. The appearance of a Messiah is a rare event; therefore, the signs will be uncommon and boldly distinctive - this suggests everyone should be able to observe them.

Eclipses, meteors, comets, and blood moons are very common events.

Should a star appear today, as an astronomical event, we'd know it was a supernova. Not one single person anywhere would connect this to a religious event. Essentially, it would be meaningless until well after the fact, until history permits us to line it up with another significant event. The Chinese did record a supernova in 5 B.C.

The ancients were big on astrology; if there was nothing to the influence of the spheres, there wouldn't be any believers in astrology today. The common man isnt watching for rare positions in the sky so, how would a confluence of planets be a sign to the people? There must be more than one sign.

I disagree with his interpretation of Revelations - that was a prophecy, not a look into the past.

Emma McGann: Officially is December 25 the worship of the Sun and the light so the Birthday of the Devil and not Jesus his only The first 13 American Colonies all had laws against this satanic observance, and their faith in the Messiah was the basis for Christmas.

Various factors contributed to the selection of December 25 as a date of celebration: it was the date of the winter solstice on the Roman calendar and it was about nine months after March 25, the date of the vernal equinox and a date linked to the conception of Jesus.

Pagan or non-Christian, traditions show up in this beloved winter holiday, a consequence of early church leaders melding Jesus' nativity celebration with pre-existing midwinter festivals. Since then, Christmas traditions have warped over time, arriving at their current state a little more than a century ago.

Christmas is also relevant because December 25th was the day of celebration of the birthday of the sun-god Mithra a deception of the Devil to worship the sun. There is no evidence that Jesus was actually born on December 25, Tammuz was born on December 25, this day was highly honored and worshipped.

Semiramis (mother of Tammuz) was revered by the people and was viewed by many as a priestess and goddess. Later on, she also became known as "the queen of heaven."

Those who existed after the Flood knew the true prophecies of God very well because the Creator had made His plans known unto all the descendants of Adam and Eve. Therefore, it was not difficult for Satan to counterfeit the truth with erroneous applications.

December 25, this day was highly honored and recognized by Nimrod's supporters. Note, therefore, that this date (December 25) was observed in honor of the birth of Tammuz long before Christianity existed

So one of our most beloved holidays is actually Satanic worship and it tells Jesus is born 4 B.C but how can he been born 4 Years before him because B.C is Before Christ and the date is and it says born between 6 B.C. and 4 B.C as soon he was born there was Christ

chronology: If we use the date Gabriel visited Mary as a reference point, then the birth of Jesus was possibly in July. It would be fun to think it was the 4th of that month given how many fans Jesus has in America.

December 24th is most noteworthy as the date Nimrod's supposed return would take place after he died.

If you saw the holiday tree, the gifts below it, the decorations at the American Embassy today in Iraq, it would be identical to the trees used in celebrating Nimrod's return in Nineveh 2600 year's ago.

Americans are more devoted to old traditions in Iraq than Iraqis are.

prairwarur: Speculation as to the time of Jesus’ birth dates back to the 3rd century, when Hyppolytus (ca. 170-236) claimed that Jesus was born on December 25. The earliest mention of some sort of observance on that date is in the Philoclian Calendar, representing Roman practice, of the year 336. Later, John Chrysostom favored the same date of birth. Cyril of Jerusalem (348-386) had access to the original Roman birth census, which also documented that Jesus was born on the 25th of December. The date eventually became the officially recognized date for Christmas in part because it coincided with the pagan festivals celebrating Saturnalia and the winter solstice. The church thereby offered people a Christian alternative to the pagan festivities and eventually reinterpreted many of their symbols and actions in ways acceptable to Christian faith and practice.

chronology: Prai, with all respect, there is no record at all of the Roman Census, let alone the results of the census.

It seems likely that there was a census. The Gospels were written around AD 70 so they are hardly going to make up a story about a census if there was none.

Again, July is speculated as the month of Jesus birthday. It would be fun to think He was born on the same date America was.

prairwarur: Source is gotquestions. I've heard several different accounts and many argue there was never a census on record, which really means little. We are extremely fortunate to have what records and texts we do have considering their ages. It's like proving a negative here in that it could be a matter of lost records. No way to know.

Zanjan: Video is incorrect about the calendar.

Early Christians used the Julian Calendar ( lunar calendar) ; the days of the week were named after pagan gods. It's still used by Christians in the eastern hemisphere to calculate movable holy days.

The Gregorian (solar calendar) IS the Christian calendar, instituted by Pope Gregory X111. The days of the week in this calendar are named after pagan gods. For convenience, it became the international calendar.

By the way, the devil only deceives the wicked. That's in the text.

God rewarded the Egyptian midwives for lying to the Pharaoh.

And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men-children alive? And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them. Therefore God dealt well with the midwives. Exodus 1:18-20

Rahab was "justified" when she lied about Joshua's spies.
And the woman [Rahab] took the two men and hid them and said thus: There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were; and it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark that the men went out; whither the men went I wot not; pursue after them quickly, for ye shall overtake them. But she had brought them up to the roof of the house and hid them with the stalks of flax. Joshua 2:4-6

David lied to Ahimelech when he said he was on the king's business. (He was King Saul's enemy at the time.) We know that God approved of this lie, since 1 Kings 15:5 says that God approved of everything David did, with the single exception of the matter of Uriah.

Elisha said unto him, go, say unto him, Thou mayest certainly recover: howbeit the Lord hath showed me that he shall surely die. 2 Kings 8:8-10...
