Gospel Authorship (Page 2) edmund_carey: What you usually see is the reasonable estimate that the Gospel of Mark dates to about 70 AD, Matthew and Luke to some time in the eighties AD, and John to about 95 AD. Some date Mark to the sixties, but that is a controversial position. Some date John to the very early second century, but, I think that is an old fashioned idea by now.
