Zanjan: From the article>> "Then a succession of discoveries throughout the 20th Century showed beyond a reasonable doubt that the universe did have a beginning. It wasn't always here."

That's not what the discovery was. What they discovered is that the Big Bang issued from one, small point of unspeakably dense matter, so heavily under pressure, that light was unable to escape it until release was triggered. It was similar to what we know as a black hole.

That means everything WAS here before; the universe is the package unwrapped. Someone built the physical package so, that was never out of nothing. There is no mystery other than our perspective on the worth of a thing.

Nothing on the physical plane is static (unchanging). Reality is full of beginnings and endings. The eternal universe means it exists forever, regardless of form.

Science has also predicted the eventual collapse of the universe, back to one, very dense point. As such, it will eventually be re-born. Cycling and recycling IS the "cosmological constant".

Scientists disagree with scientists and theolgians disagree with theologians, and Christians disagree with Christians. Yet the battle is all in the quest for knowledge.....eventually, the truth is the last one standing.

Zanjan: Incidentally, The Bab, 200 years ago, wrote that "The beginning" is the primal point.

This is the reason for being. To concern ourselves with how anything occurs can just be a foggy goose chase; the important thing is to learn WHY it occurs.

What this means is that they believe there will never be a "Big Crunch". The universe will expand forever at a faster and faster rate, in fact the rate of increasing expansion is itself increasing.

Zanjan: Of course, while things are flying away from each other, we don't really have 'more' universe. Just takes longer (more time) to get from point A to B. Scientists don't fully understand dark energy other than it's the thing that's causing the galaxies to space out; it may have other properties.

Who knows where the point of the big bang was located? Scientists say the Bang wasn't just matter (hot gas) being spewed out into space, it was space, itself, expanding - that is, the distance between point A and B was stretched.

As such, there is no physical center of the universe, it's everywhere all at the same time. Wrap your head around that! We're located by time - 14.5 Billion years away from the Bang. What they don't know is why there was an early point in time where the bang actually stopped in the void, sitting still for several hundred thousand years, then resumed expansion.

Nothing on the physical plane remains static. The crunch theory relies on all matter in the universe going totally 'cold', having spent its own energy. Is that dispersed energy converted? However, matter still has weight (mass), which depresses the fabric of space. The "fabric" could be that dark energy.....today, it's visage appears on instruments as being rather lacy.

If the "push' of Dark Energy is strongest and tightest at the hot beginning, then it's weaker by the time the contents of the universe have completely cooled. In short, all these weighty chunks would begin rolling together and space would fold in.

We know that everything in nature is folded, then unfolds, then shrinks. I'm visualizing a flower blossom that withers to produce the seed. I'm not a scientist but there's a few dynamics that make me think the true end will be as it was in the beginning - the circle of life. I'd be looking at what would make that single point re-occur.

Zanjan: There's no link between God and His creation, other than being its Master.

If I make an origami swan, what has that lump of paper have to do with Me? Nada. Someone might come along and ask "Who made it'? Another might ask 'What - the swan or the paper'? And so the questions go until they trace back to the origin of the universe.

Zanjan: Knowledge was revealed for the delight of mankind so, that should be an endless quest for us. The more important work is what we intend to do with the knowledge we have.

So much of what science is exploring has no application, which is what they should be working on instead of exploring more things that have no application.

I mean, they're looking for ways to travel to other planets; meanwhile, they're developing self driving cars. None of this is what the world needs. For example, we need to find energy sources that don't use fossil fuels; we need more bio-degradable materials, we need to find ways to preserve pristine environments, protect water, and grow wildlife and plant species.

If we don't turn our attention and smarts to taking care of earth's life, it may not be a livable planet much longer. Science has its priorities really screwed up, and technology isn't far behind.

Then again, they're the products of a warped, greedy and territorial element of society, one that still isn't ready to accept that wars must end for good, one that is still using science for wrongful industry ie., more devastating weaponry and GMOs. The time is up. Shall we put certain kinds of knowledge into the hands of those who misuse and abuse?

[end of rant]
