Sin (Page 2) Zanjan: "falsely assumed "moral superiority" over others." You might be right; then again, until YOU can manage to keep the Covenant of God, you have no place to diss anyone else's moral superiority. Crash: LOL more assertions without evidence. Sigh. "covenant of god" is meaningless until you can demonstrate any "god" actually exists. LOL Crash: Because I don't break laws zan. That's a very idiotic question. LOL Here we go again .....with your strawman....after i have ONCE again destroyed your nonsense with logic and facts. sigh Zanjan: I don't buy that......lots of lawbreakers manage to evade arrest and/or conviction.......doesn't make them any less guilty. Most criminals roam free because the victims can't afford to sue them for damages. I've seen no evidence from you of a stainless record. Tell me why I should believe you. Crash: ok .....A.) I see your continuing with you facile strawman...... B.) I NEVER said I had a stainless record ..... C.) Saying "I don't break laws" isn't an OUTRAGEOUS or RIDICULOUS claim. Like "God exists" Crash: personally zan ....why do you even converse with me.....you have NO cogent arguments EVER....all you do is strawman and make baseless assertions.....which I EASILY debunk constantly. Honestly ......how are you not embarrassed? SMH suchso: We need to agree on the definition of the word "sin", As Cena quoted in her opening post: James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth [it] not, to him it is sin. I agree with James. suchso: If someone does not know the Law, then nothing is "good or evil" to that person; nothing is a sin. They assume all humans are like themselves - nothing more than animals following instinct. We have to know the Law before we can obey it. It is about awareness versus ignorance. An ignorant person acts on instinct and does not know what they do, or why. An aware person knows the ramifications of their actions. AretoNyx: Some say killing is a sin but killing in war is not? Some say sex before marriage is a sin and some say repent to a priest or however makes things alright? Some say eating shrimp, tattoos , and being gay is a sin but others disagree? Some say different ways per set and interpretation , but even the family cult finds ways to make molesting or rape okay? Is owning a slave or slavery a sin in any way, and this even if wrong and immoral? Can people get around believing they are saved from a sin just because baptism or believe in Jesus or Muhammad with Allah? Sin is missing the mark but mostly I see sad hypocrites with harm to others in cults and such. Zanjan: There isn't a place you can go where you wont find an enemy - it often takes awhile plus a few storms to find out who your true friends are. | Religion Chat Room 21 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
