If Heaven is real, than where is it? (Page 5) Zanjan: You sound like a very sensitive fellow. Life is full of contrasts so you choose where to direct your gaze and how long to let it linger there. If your eyes are planted on certain things often, that seeps into your every thought and sleeping moment. It can consume you, like a moth to the flame. If you let this rule your life, that's where you dwell. The media informs but on its own turf - it's business is scooping up dirt, outrageousness and shock value. Not just news, it's any ruminations to get the ratings and fill 30 minutes with seat gripping tension, using cliff hangers to get you back after the commercial. The world is full of good news but that's not riveting material. Some days, it's hilarious how hard they try to get you concerned and worried over nothing anyone can know until after it happens. An informed person balances their gaze so they can see both good and bad equally. That's called stereovision. Whereas, a sighted person has a 360 degree view - that's called a world-embracing vision. It doesn't see failure or victories, it sees stumbling and progress everywhere. It sees past, present and future with purpose and direction in every arena of human endeavor. Heaven is nearness to God. In this place, one devotes themselves to prayer, scripture, education, the arts, caring for others, upholding justice, community service, contributing to the betterment of society, building bridges, encouraging and inspiring others, etc. They serve God, submit to God, are consumed by love for His beauty and knowledge. This is where they dwell, all the days of their lives. (Edited by Zanjan) Zanjan: "why are the angels not doing anything about these tragedies" Is there some reason it should ALL be left to the angels? The angels are doing plenty, they're hard workers; however, their methods are not the same as the short-sighted. Angels don't do compulsion. "so you are saying they will get a chance to go to heaven when they pass judgement?" There's no chance about it. Wherever you are right now, that's not going to change if you die this exact minute. At death, the veils are drawn aside, revealing that God has already put you in your true place so, that's where you are in the Hereafter as well. However, if you think you've still got some time left on earth, you can move from your current place if you choose. If you make a concerted effort, your life will be different next year. Perhaps you'll have chosen a new occupation, new religion, maybe rectified a few weaknesses, gained new interests, become more generous, changed your views on certain things. Hopefully, what you learned was enough to never look back. Depends on how much you want to change - sky's the limit.  chronology: Zan, am not making fun, but you say you have met Jesus, God and the devil and whatever. But have you met Angeles? Americans have all kinds of stories of how mysterious people helped them when their car broke down on a lonely road etc. Who can say? Zanjan: Yes, I've met Angels, of all ranks - here on earth and in heaven. There are different kinds of angels. No one meets the devil, one sees and hears it. The devil is within - it's one's own ego. We can't get rid of that, only subject it with spiritual power. Technically, nobody "meets" God - that's a figure of speech, He's inaccessible. What is meant is one enters His Holy Court and stands in His presence. It's a mystical experience. Zanjan: TheHating, everyone has the means to know a faker. See, if you're a faker, yourself, you'll follow a faker because you're greedy and want something in particular they're offering. Bargain hunters are easily deceived into thinking they can get something valuable at less than cost. Likewise, you also know when someone is genuine, even if you're not. There's always a way to tell. The genuine have what you want but can't give it to you. You have to earn it. You decide how to respond to that. Cases of mistaken identity only occur during the initial introduction.
