In the case of governance, though, we see how that opportunity (mis-percieved view of equality) can have devastatingly poisonous consequences for a nation of people; more serious because it can't come to a sudden stop. If history has taught us anything, that's not something one should be lax about. The problem with civil politics is damage control tends to be after the fact so, that gets real messy. Special **preventative*** measures need to be in place.
