The bible in English, why, where? (Page 4)

TheDoctor394: Thank you for that, Zanjan.

Certainly there are a number of similarities between those words and some of what Jesus said, but there are a couple of notable differences as well. I don't want to get into them, as we are trying to keep this thread on topic, but thank you for the information.

Blackshoes: Zanjan So If I'm correct ? You're either imply or stating that Muhammad ,Bab Claimed to be God In the flesh .

"Muhammad or Bahá’u’lláh made similar claims to Jesus, saying something synonymous with "I and the Father are one" or "I am the way, the truth and the life, no-one comes to the Father but by me."

Zanjan: Our scripture doesn't need to use the word "flesh". We already know what a Manifestation of God is. We also know the difference between rank and station.

Baha'is don't interpret the meaning of scriptural text for others either. Understanding must remain between the individual and God without any hint of compulsion - this is the Law of God.

Black, who are you quoting in your post? It sure isn't me. Here's what I said, verbatim:

>>>"Doctor, yes, Muhammad, the Bab and Baha'u'llah all said that about Themselves."

>>> "Revelators aren't clones - same divine rank, different stations, more truths."

How many ways can I say this? Not as many as They did. Each of Them made exactly the same claim for their own RANK. If you understand the claim, then you know that no human understanding could get past Them.

As for *station*, that was different with each One. It's tantamount to a posting in the grand scheme of God's Plan - that is, it's when and where God wanted Them to be.

Each claimed to be a Divine Physician - They diagnosed the conditions of Their time and dispensed the appropriate remedy for those ills. By Their command, They re-created the world of those people. In truth, nobody can say They didn't.

Zanjan: God gives power to Whomever He chooses and does whatever He wills. Nothing anyone can do about that - no one has power to stay His Hand.

If one's religion is dying, God wont save it. Instead, He gives them another - that's why mankind has so many. Such a merciful God!

Blackshoes: Zanjan

It was a simple Question . If you claim understanding of *God Word as you do ',You should had no problem answering it ?

* I don't believe you understand God Word '. I'm sure you believe you do .
That doesn't mean you don't understand words or the words of those that claim too be prophets '.
You maybe the best ,kindest ,nicest, most righteous ,most intelligent person on earth
It just doesn't mean much ',if you cannot answer a simple question
I mean really all the rhetoric in the world is meaningless without being able to say something worthwhile ?

Zanjan: Blackshoes, God answered your simple question - the saintly don't tamper with that.

If you've got a problem with me, take it up with God. I'm not essential to your well-being and understanding.

Blackshoes: Zanjan Why are you here? Just to give speeches and state your opinions with out backing them up .
It's your statement ,and post that cause the Questions . You say things and then refuse to verify them
We've gone over this ground before ,and you either dodge the question or refuse to back up your statement
I don't care what others believe ,and accept ',that's their business .However : when you say something like Muhammad and bab claimed too be God ? I like too see if it's true or false .
It's odd that .I've never heard it or read such statements from any source ', other than you ?
As far as I'm aware ",to make that kind of statement about Muhammad would cause a get uproar from many Islamic Scholars '.
I'm sure you take this as attack .However: it's frustrating to speak too those that cause such confusion .

Because God sent me. I do His bidding He bid me to inform, the purpose being to eradicate ignorance and eliminate prejudices so that unity can appear among people.

Blackshoes: Zanjan I 'm not confused ', A servant has no problem providing simple answers too simple Question '.
If they cannot provide a answer ? One has to assume they're serving either themselves, or the one that deceives the world

I've tried to water it down my concerns .However: I don't like beating around the facts, and observation of your posted statements I have seen you do this before whenever you don't have a good answer or you don't have a answer

chronology: Curious point Zan, Benjamin Creme is dead.

He died last November in London As far as I can tell Creme had an identical religious view as your self. But I wonder if you could explain something? Creme believed the Second Coming has already happened and that Jesus was living in East London. He had been there since 1977 .

Just curious, why would Jesus remain in secret for so long? Most of Crem's predictions never came true so do you think he was wrong about Jesus living in London.

Creme was influenced by Alice Bailey who saw Lucifer as the great light bearer the liberator of mankind.

Well Ben is dead now and knows one way or another if his ideas were right.

Does that mean Jesus Christ's answers weren't good enough for you? Nor the Bab's? How many answers do you need?

Zanjan: Chron: "Creme believed the Second Coming has already happened....... "

Well, *that* part is true.............although it's not true for those who don't accept it.

"why would Jesus remain in secret for so long?"

Do you mean the "Christ" or "Jesus"? The Jewish Museum of Antiquities would be better able to answer that question. Personally, I can tell you that you can't see Him until you're prepared well enough for it. Some need to wear sunglasses when stepping out into the light of the Day.

London, England or London, Ontario?

Presumably, Creme was speaking of the time when The Christ appeared to some East Londoners, which seems to have stuck with that group of people. In the city where I grew up in my province, the first people there to see Him was in 1974, according to official record; but, likely could have been sooner, unofficially.

Christians have the notion that the "Return" happens everywhere at the identical time, and is seen by every person on earth at the identical moment. That's spreading one's self mighty thin, doncha think? Close but no cigar.

Historically, Christians have repeatedly been proven wrong on that view. They either didn't know what they were looking for or, what they saw wasn't what they were expecting.

Zanjan: We all have different views on the facts. Those who are well-studied know that the name "Lucifer" means Lightbringer - not satan.

It's the story of human failure, not a representation of evil. The ending is similar to that of the mythical Icarious. Lucifer is only mentioned once in scripture; it referred specifically to a real King of Babylon, who lived in very remote times.

chronology: Hmmm don't know Zan, the majority of Americans asked about Creme believed him a fraud plain and simple. Curiously tho, there are more Cults than ever in America, and Cult numbers are growing every year.

The 'Return' of Jesus is clearly stated in the New Testament. It is going to be a drawn out Battle similar to Operation Iraqi Freedom. People disagree on details, but eventualy like Mr Bush appeard in Bagdad, Jesus will once again stand on the earth and begin His New Age. But first will come all those trials mentioned in Revelation, all those billions of people being sent to hell for ever, and ever. Maybe we will be sat like Patricia Tallman for a while in 'Night of the Living Dead' watching the people who recieved the Mark of the Beast being rounded up like the Zombies in her movie.

One thing is sure, it will be a global conflict.

Zanjan: Well, the cults in America usually stay in America until they dissolve. I've seen many come and go; some of them were positively hilarious and lasted barely 5 years. They were fads; like shoe styles, they eventually come back under a different name for another kick at the can.

The religion of God isn't a political/physical battle; neither is the Return of Christ. All of the prophecies have been fulfilled. The judgment has been pronounced.

The wars you see on earth today (following two global conflicts) are merely the last remaining puffs of smoke from an old order. It's the dying song of those who are fiercely resistant to change. Nevertheless, change comes. Why fight the inevitable?

Wars aren't feasible anymore, due to the technology we have now. The dawn is always dusky; people are already beginning to realize there's no place in the future for wars ever again.

chronology: Zan, you just swept away all prophesy with a stroke of your keys. The end time war, one of them at least will drag on for about three and a half years. It may not be very far away this end times, but people will be so dumbed down and decieved they will not even know they are fighting against God.

But hey Zan you are entitled to your views. As far as most people are concerned all this talk of end times war is just crazy talk about who believe in fairies

Zanjan: It's not a view, Chron - I'm talking about real events.

The Jews and Christians know they're already past the end times but, for them, it's just business as usual. They're leaving it all up to God. While the Quran supports the prophecies, Muslims don't talk about it because they're busy dealing with the apocalypse of their own religion.

What about the night walkers? I mean, those who know about the prophecies but have left religion? Apparently, they just don't care. Sure, they noticed nearly everything that's happened in the 20th century but they think it was all an accident, which holds no meaning to them.

For a moment, let's pretend those unique events never happened. There remains one other, undeniable condition - something that should set off a few alarm bells. If people couldn't also notice the massive slide in character, they sure aren't going to notice the rise in it either. We're well beyond what can be done for such people.

chronology: Well Zan I must say this is another personal take you have on religion.

If you flip through any American Religious Radio Stations you find most of them saying mankind in in the last days heading for the arrival of the Anti Christ.

The so called 'Beast System' as they call it is almost in place they say. Don't know Zan, but they do make a compelling case for this with Bible references and modern scientific devellopments.

I think your argument that all these events are just long gone news would not stand very long against their view. The American Radio Preachers are virtually all saying the world is headed on a course to the most fantastic explosive end times era. I must say, you would have a rough time trying to refute their Bible references.
