How Do You Want To Die? (Page 3)

Zanjan
Zanjan: I think most would like to die quick; however, I'd like 24 hours notice so I could get my affairs in order. Even the best laid plans have been known to go awry.......one would need a touch-up kit to update the details.

That said, I definitely need to clean house faster and throw out more stuff, or give more away so my executor wont be cursing me. So far, I've got two closets finished. The thrift store is now moving into a larger space in town. Co-incidence? I think not.

I want to die with my makeup on. Seriously.

jayfitz74: I'd like to die in my sleep, I don't like pain haha Also I'd like to be buried close to my place of death. My soul will be thankful for it, when I reach the spiritual world it will be amazing. A never ending journey of learning and achieving, we must prepare spiritually in this world to make the transition easier. There are many different levels to heaven including the most basic of heaven which we know as hell, I don't want this place it's boring apparently haha, I wonder how long it will take to get to the highest form or dimension of heaven, or is heaven growing all the time like the universe? Science and religion are meant to be one, we may find answers a lot quicker if they were?

Zanjan: At my age, I've been dealing with physical pain for so long, I'm used to it. That wouldn't be anything new. I want to die fully awake - eyes wide open because I don't want to miss a thing.

Bonus if I could die for a worthy Cause, not that I'd want to upstage anyone else's passing : I just pray that my death won't be an embarrassing moment.

jayfitz74: That's unfortunate Zan sorry to hear that, your soul will detach no matter how you die, but dying gracefully has a nice ring to it😀I'm sure your make up will be perfect and your passing will be beautiful. I've had my fair share of death within immediate family it's stressful to others no matter how you look at it. Your a strong dedicated person and open minded. Your soul will explode into the next life being free from pain, turbo charged, your be a handful for God haha😀

chronology: Sad Zan. A Guy I knew was in pain a lot but it was all down to booz with him. He would drink Vodka or Rum before bed, then wake up next day with a full on hangover. He was entitled to free prescription painkillers so he was taking the painkillers for the hangover. I was taken aback one time at how bad shape hewas was in. He was unwashed, his clothes were smelly and crumpled, he also never bothered putting in his dentures anymore, so he had a caved in look to his filthy unshaven face. But he hardly noticed what a slob he was because of the pain killers. He just sat there with a blank look on his ugly face grinding his gums.

Zanjan: Sounds like a guy who died long before he passed away. I've seen way too many self-destructive people to hold out any hope for them once their youth is gone. They're just sitting around, passing the time until nature takes their body.

They know something has escaped them, they just don't know what. Usually others don't either so they call him "a guy who's down on his luck", as if life were merely a toss of the dice.

robertbatchelor: I would like to go to sleep and not wake up as I am a coward. At least I know that much about me. I never thought I would be 81 this June .
I have never been a strong person yet never very ill. I take no medications at all. But I really need an 18 year old blond carer that drives .
I like being funny as I smile at life which past me by . I did far more then I intended but never achieved what I ought to have in life. I blame me I never wanted to be me even as a little boy. I hated kindergarten & school. I have Social Anxiety Disorder yet POLAY ACT in real life to cover my failures. Few people know me as who I really am. Silent & withdrawn.
I have practiced so much I cover my tracks too well. Yet I am afraid of people and only I know it .

Zanjan: O my gosh, Robert! Well, we're all unique. Knowing something and remembering it doesn't always work together the same.

I didn't realize you were such a....senior! Now we can forgive every single slip...heheh.

You only take the good traits with you into the next world - all the bad falls away like the shadow it is. Any psycho-emotional difficulties you've had as a result of organic flaws will disappear. Nothing can destroy the wisdom you've learned and the true colour of your character.

The scriptures in my religion say that the next world is a truly safe place to be who you are. Unlike this world, you can never slip backwards - it's forward ho.

robertbatchelor: Being in Social Anxiety Disorder I never really lived my life.
I was never in control.
I was robbed of life.
Like JOB I want to be rewarded in this life.
The next life we are all NEITUR.
So I lost what was mine only in this life.
IF GOD sees fit to save me unto the next life I need to thank people for trying to help me.
Sure they failed but I know they tried when I could not help myself .

Zanjan: When you've had an education, managed to pay your bills, and were able to do some good for others, I don't think you've lost much in life. How much of that could you take with you anyway?

I recall a friend who won $1,000 in the lottery. He really needed the cash and was glad for it but when he collected his money and the clerk congratulated him, he replied, "I lost $9,000!" Apparently, he was one number away from winning $10,000.

How do we know that something was ever meant to be ours in this life? Who intended it?

My developmentally delayed clients were never meant to have normal brain function in this life. You see, they're here to fill the gap - if not for them, some people could never learn certain important spiritual lessons or have a way to apply them. It all works out, Robert; we operate at different rates of speed for the betterment of mankind.........we'll all rise eventually.

robertbatchelor: My great concern is if GOD sees fit to delete me from ETERNAL LIFE SO BE IT.
Having Social Anxiety Disorder means I was not able to be a normal person. I know what is wrong in my world. I know others who knew their world was not right. One thanked me for treating her like I treat others. The BIBLE states how life in general work but for some of us it cannot work.
In eternity we will all be NEUTER so this life was a waste. KING DAVID then had my share LOL.

Zanjan: Neuter? No one can be totally neutral; indifferent, yes. Trust me, in the next world, no one can be indifferent. Or did you mean "neutralized"? That would totally defeat the Plan of God. I can't imagine how anyone could think God's work is limited to the physical plane of existence.

Nothing in creation remains static; all things must move, continually.

If you don't get eternal life in this world, you aren't going to have it when you pass away. Nothing spiritual is handed to you on a sliver platter - one must go through a gradual process of transformation to achieve eternal life; if it were instantaneous, the shock would be too great to bear.

Thus, if you enter the next world at the half-way mark of this transformation, you've got all the time you want to complete the course. Your only regret would be that you didn't get it done while you were still on earth, where you could have changed more things a lot faster.

jayfitz74: I agree Zan...this may sound strange but I've always been excited to die, I don't really see it as a negative thing, it's always been a subject no one wants to think about. Just leaving mourning loved ones will be the hardest for me and them. Any genuine form of spirituality helps the soul transition a lot easier. No one can
comprehend the next life but we can prepare like you said, I can't comprehend that when we die that's it, it's over, nothing to see...sleep forever. I'm not being sarcastic but I feel sorry for non spiritual or religious ppl leaving this life...they will get the biggest I told you so ever lol

Zanjan: That's true; and, what harm is there in preparing for the inevitable, even if one thinks they wont continue to exist after that? Are they not the same people who profess it's all about the richness of one's life in the here and now, right?

I mean, when I plant a sapling tree today, I know I'll never live to see it grow up; yet, I have a good idea of what it will look like when it matures; and, I KNOW that someone in the future will be enjoying the coolness of its shade on a hot day. This gives me joy and it's what I leave behind me as one of my legacies - an act of love.
