chronology: Lori dear, I hate to say this, but there is zero proof at all for out of body experience. Personally I believe it does happen, I have had a number of Astral Projections myself. But the problem is memories of Astral Projections are not recorded in the physical Brain. It is not clear how memories of Out of body experience are stored, or even if they are stored. My own humble take on the death experience for many people is that they will simply' change world's' as the Japanese say. People are probably living their after life even before they die. They do this with OB experience while they are asleep. When they die they simply permanently change dimensions to their afterlife personality on another plane with zero memory at all of the life they lived in the body.
The transition from this life to the next does not seem to be run along set rules. Jesus Christ talks of people filled with horror suffering and none stop agony in the next life. He also talks of His follower's changing world's with no experience at all of the death experience. To use His exact words 'no taist of death' .

But as said Lori, there is zero proof for any of this. Remember you are talking about a different dimension. I always remember the reaction to the report's of travellers to Africa who spoke of visiting the snowcapped high parts of Mt Kilimanjaro. Folks in London thought they were crazy or just making up stories. 'Do you think we are fools? Africa is a tropical country, how can you have snow and ice in a tropical country' ? They responded.

chronology: Lori with all respect. There are people with convincing stories of meeting Aliens from Outer Space, seeing people change into Reptilians, seeing people float up into the air. Etc, but all people like James Randi would say is 'just give me some proof of these events' no one ever has. If they did their neighbourhood would be filled with Media vehicles with satellite dishes broadcasting live to the entire world News Media. Every person on earth would have to change their views on the way the world works. I believe in out of body experience, I have been there, so have you. But I don't expect anyone to believe you or me. As for people who claim they can drift out of body at will and remember all the details of their trip, why are they not on TV right now being interviewed by Larry King.?

chronology: Lori dear, you are entering one of your strange periods again. The U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy are still keeping their video records Secret. Agreed. But saying Larry and James do not exist is just silly. There is supposed to be video of actual ghosts at a NASA Base somewhere. NASA won't even admit it exists. But presumed proof is not proof, it is just rumour.

Zanjan: If you've had an amazing journey, you'd want to share it with someone; it's the deepest urge anyone has. Like any other story, one should only share it with those who are willing to listen - right time, right place, right interest. I wouldn't go into extreme detail with the general public - these things are personal matters.

If your story is genuine, you wouldn't be the first or only one to have experienced the same or similar. Therefore, if it doesn't ring true, surely the veterans would call their bluff. There's a panel of peers and no one wants to look the fool.

Take Randy, he's the last person on earth who'd have the wherewithal to test a case. He has zero experience, no receptivity, and an agenda to pursue a smear campaign. Since he has a vested interest in keeping the bait he dangles, you can be absolutely certain he'd lie about results. So, stuff it, Randy - *I* choose the recipient.

chronology: Zan. Randi has become the most famous sceptic of our era. But he naturally approaches the subject from the point of view of a stage magician. Randi knows how people can be fooled into believing anything. The Death and resurrection event's in Jerusalem would be a simple weekend event to him. In fact Randi would think that the original resurrection story was clumsy indeed from his point of view. On each time Jesus appeared to His friend's He looked completely different from the previous time. 'That tends to make people suspect a trick of some kind' Randi would say.

Ghost. People can sometimes accept totally new ideas. When radio was discovered people were amazed. Same with Space Flights to the Moon. But eventually people grow to understand how these situations work. The trouble with OoB experience is that most folks just cannot see how such phenomenon can occur. Folks like yourself dismiss it all as nonsense.

ghostgeek: People make all sorts of claims, including that 5g is somehow spreading coronavirus. Doesn't mean all these claims are true. That's why it's best to do a little digging into each claim as they come along before taking them at face value.

Zanjan: They believe that 5G and Corona Virus exist.....and somehow have put that together with nothing in between aka, "the things that frighten me" list.

Whereas Randy doesn't believe the mind exists - after all, if you cut open a brain, you can't see it. He'll concede that the brain, when alive, produces thoughts; a thought, not being anything other than an electromagnetic wave, he believes, wouldn't have bearing on anything.

His list is the same as above.

chronology: Zan, they are claiming there is no corona virus as such. But they say 5G is a method of controlling people's emotions by using radio waves. Unless you are in a laboratory with access to the samples and data there is no proof either way other than objective thinking.

Like you I keep an open mind on the subject.

Unfortunately this situation is like what some people accuse religion of, it gives people the excuse to act stupid in public. Religious people dance around churches and corona freaks walk up to people insisting on social distancing.

Thank goodness we have Spot the Robot dog bringing some common sense to the situation. Any Intelligence, Artificial or human, is needed these days. The sooner we have a Spot Robot in every Town the better.

gbox1: From a scientific perspective it is not giving credit to the power of the brain. People on LSD will tell you emphatically that they are seeing what they are seeing. It is as real as you or I would be standing in front of them. However, they are hallucinating and what they are seeing is NOT there. Your brain can create false memories that you would swear actually happened. When your brain is deprived of oxygen (in the case of an NDE), you will experience those same things. From a religious perspective believing in OBEs is a fundamental biblical misunderstanding of what the 'soul' is. Despite what has been taught by so many, the Bible does NOT support the idea of an immaterial soul that leaves the body at death. Man is a wholistic being. Body+breath=living soul. When you take one away, the other ceases to function. The Bible preaches resurrection of the dead to eternal life with a new body and consciousness, not heaven or hell as a disembodied, cogitating 'soul'. It just isn't there when you understand the original usage of the Hebrew and Greek.

lori100: there's no evidence of false memories...just a theory used to con trauma victims....the bible has been edited many times....lots of it is not legit.......there is a 'new' body when out of body...it's the astral body....inter connected with the physical body......some people travel out of body often.....it happens......we are not confined to the physical body....and many athiests have met God during obe's changing their beliefs forever.....
