Sorry to hear that. However, this shouldn't come as a surprise since scriptures foretold that amongst those working in the field, He would take some and leave others behind. Does your mother work in the field? If so, I'm sure it will happen eventually.

If not, I suppose her chances of regaining sight are drastically less than 20/20.

Zanjan: Deuce, God didn't create sin. Sin has no substance - it means absence of light.

Nature hates a vacuum - light will come rushing into a void, unless something gets in its way. The only thing that can block spiritual enlightenment is denial.

ghostgeek: Zanjan, my mother is well into her eighties and hardly able to move so her days of working anywhere are well and truly over. No need to bring scripture into it though as we all know the cause of the trouble. Old age. Nothing lasts for ever, not even belief.

ghostgeek: So for $27.00 anybody can find out what kinds of things anger God and how He can be both infinitely loving yet infinitely angry. Would that include using Him to making a fast buck?

Zanjan: Ghost, never think an old lady can't make a difference. Even if she's not actively working in the field, she's going to be teaching something to her very last breath. Make a note of that.

I guarantee her sight will be restored once she passes into the next world.

If knowledge were as cheap as $27, this world would be a paradise on earth, should one want to fork the cash over.

The NT tells of a certain person who wanted to buy that knowledge from the Apostles - they turned him down. Does this mean they refused to teach this fellow the Faith? Or refused to accept money for teaching the faith? You be the judge.
