dadman1240: depends on what side of the coin you're on .... but no, as we (Christians) see the day approaching ... not laughter, but sobriety / love for God and fellow man / teaching and preaching the truth that God has commissioned his children to disperse .... we anticipate the end of what we see now ... and the new beginning of the coming promised Kingdom of God .... all the signs are falling into place

ghostgeek: I bet you're referring to the growing phenomena of sinister black-eyed children Dadman. I know they have but one consistent request, "Invite us in," but whatever you do, don't let them into your home! Bad luck is sure to follow.

dadman1240: the scripture indicates that a final war will congeal along the Euphrates River (Rev 9) ... it will not remain there ... it will launch from there to kill 1/3rd of mankind ... of course I am speculating .. but watching it close ... only time will tell

Zanjan
Zanjan: Ghost, there will always be two worlds - the celestial and the temporal. They co-exist and you gotta pay in both, no matter what.

Cheque, cash, gems, goats, sweat, obeisance, rights, blood etc - they're all good tender. The difference between the two kingdoms is whether you want to pay or not.

"The end is nigh" is a cause for celebration when it means the end of war. There are three ways this happens - your demise is imminent, your personal battles are over, peace between peoples and nations is on its way. Generally, they're on a different time scale.

In terms of Jesus, the future is now.

1/3 of all the things on the earth, in the earth, sea and air have already been killed. We're re-building.

The world's population has nearly doubled in one generation after WW2. We've established international laws covering endangered species, heritage sites, natural habitats, wilderness parks, pollution controls, fishing and hunting regulations, travel, smuggling, war crimes, political boundaries, foods, drugs, chems, technology, disease, and so on.

Eyesight and hearing has been restored, speech has been enabled, the crippled can walk, demons have been conquered, the sick have been healed, lives have been saved, justice has appeared, and people have become changed in the twinkling of an eye.

However, the bots just keep poking along as if nothing has happened.

His Angels will gather the goats (rejectors) will be taken for judgement and his sheep (children of God) will remain to enter ... > http://dadmansabode.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=740#p740 <
