The same source mentions many other Christian propagandists' attempts to tamper with the text in the biblical books and until now, most of them have got away with their crime. But more thorough study methods, like the active use of data bases, computer research and inter-disciplinary cooperation have unmasked some of the old perpetrators or vandals; and more will probably surface in the future, as other clever scholars finish their projects.

It doesn't matter how absurd the contradaction (eg. Jesus being executed on different days - cf Mark/John), the believer will find some ludicrous way to explain it away. Isn't it vastly more likely that one of the "witnesses" is wrong? Or both?

When the facts are at odds with my beliefs, the facts had better watch out.

beloved_azi: hmm...i dont blive the whole bible..cos it contains lots of words of other ppl rather than Jesus (pbuh)..though i respect Jesus(pbuh)..and most of all..Many christians fail to follow their own bible..they dont obey Jesus(peace be upon him) which is too bad..but one think is that whther u all blive it or not pls dont hurt other ppl's bliv by badly mocking at them.
