lavendar_star: So true,

I think some dont realise not all can embrace the cold realities of science. humans have religion for reason, we are concious animal aware of our morality and being unlike any other animal.

So defo self righteous is not confined to just some religious folk and people become just like what they criticise, interesting

Airstream: Yes, you are right. Dogmatic narrow-mindedness doesn't necessarily come in a religious wrapping. There are several types of it floating around out there, but since they are easiest to spot, the religious ones normally get the most frequent attention and are most loudly criticised.

Some branches of science dismiss religion as an acceptable explanation, but what they manage to caugh up themselves isn't exactly a very strong brew either.
