Extremists (Page 2) flashie: would you call a dissident mayan progressive? or extremist? saying no to human sacrifice? thought not JesusChrist: At least the other religions don't dress up little boys like women and make them dance in front of men, this is an abomination. iMalice: We should never encourage extremism or make room for it in our society. The more extremists we accept, the more quarrels, fighting and wars we will experience, since extremists never turn the other cheek. Instead, they give their opponents another blow as soon as they lower their guard. hewhay: IMO - Extremist are weak minded lost individuals with no direction and easily led 'tis why they are extremist' anyone listening to one telling him he must kill the 'unbelievers' , they should seek immediate mental health treatment ,for they are as nuts as the one they are listening to . the 'Creator' of my knowledge and understanding ,has never asked anyone to murder anyone over Satan's religious system lord_gord: atheist think religion is man made. BUt evolution theories are believed regardless because they WANT to be atheists and blindly accept it out of arrogance. no science proves the world is older than 6000 years. but an atheist will tell u it is so that you will selfishly indulge in the market and u believe them out of arrogance. no space theories are facts. but atheists will tell u they are because they listen and repeat anything an atheist will say because of their arrogance. fact of the matter is atheism is the advocating to womanizers, corrupt politicians, criminals, perverts, CHILDREN and idiots, as well as pricks that morals are man made fictitious opinion statements. And atheist live by that standard and congratulate that lifestyle. FACT. Geoff: Evolution has nothing to do with religious beliefs. I know plenty of Christians who also accept the evidence for evolution (that's the official position of both the Catholic and Anglican churches). And religion has precious little to with morality. tix mascot: The Greek started to mix the two concepts (religion and morality) together and the Jews followed suit. Christianity professed it as if it were a proven fact. Now, we have a hard time to untangle them, since they seem to be welded together in many people's minds... tix mascot: That depends: In some religions, God is antropomorphic, while others embrace a more abstract concept. This dualistic conception of God isforemost an inheritage from early Egyptian religion, where the first scholars to analyse it also disagreed about whether it was basically monotheistic with polytheistic undertones or vice versa. In addition comes all the associations to animals and birds in the Egyptian belief. | Religion Chat Room 33 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
