World's oldest religion?

Winelover: Archaeologists recently unearthed a 70,000 year old statue of a snake in Botswana. Snakes as religious symbols have been discovered all over southern Africa and may represent the earliest form of organized religious practices. It is also interesting to note that snakes and serpents played central roles in religions worldwide, from Central Asia to the Americas.

Spirit One: don't know about religion ,but the oldest spiritual belief is 'YAHWISM' the worship of Yahweh and belief in His New Kingdom Message .4003 BC Adam called upon His Heavenly Father whom He knew as Yahweh [Many new Bibles are stating this FACT in their opening footnotes ],worship of Snakes and animals is purely PAGAN

Point5andahalf: The aboriginal people of Australia, who's history dates back 40 000 yrs, have the rainbow serpent as an important part of their mythology/belief and creation stories.
No statues, but cave paintings.
I think it has something to do with the serpentine shape of rivers, viewed from on high.

But organised religions aside,animism and paganism would be the oldest forms of worship..
