Should Attorney General Garland release the affidavit for Trump's raid?

In my opinion. No. At least not at this time if they are working on a heavier legal case. I also do not think it might be up to him to do so. Affidavits for warrants appears to always be kept under wraps (not just in this situation).

The affidavit may most likely have names as sources. Given how violent and spiteful members of the Trump base are, that might put the people at risk. Also, it might act as a tip off if they are currently conducting a deeper investigation.

The warrant already clarified that the FBI needed to act and retrieve those classified documents.

So I think they redeemed themselves against the backlash. Perhaps persons should focus on getting answers from Trump as to why he removed these documents.

Maybe he needs counselling on letting go of a presidency he lost or maybe there were more darker motives who knows.

ArainbowGIRL: will be really hard to let go of the presidency because he's probably running for president again in 2024 and looks like he'll win-

Former President Trump would enter the 2024 Republican presidential primary as the heavy favorite for the party’s nomination, though Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is emerging as the clear runner-up should Trump decide against another campaign, according to a new Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey.

The poll, which was shared exclusively with The Hill on Monday, found that in a hypothetical eight-way primary for the GOP’s 2024 nod, Trump is far and away the front-runner, scoring 52 percent support. DeSantis, meanwhile, is the only other candidate to win double-digit support at 19 percent. Former Vice President Mike Pence comes in third, with just 7 percent.
