Ukraine wanted to use Nato to get Russia 5. Ukraine also wanted to use Russia to get rid of internal opposition. 6. American is hoping a Russia breakup will ripple over to China, and cause China to breakup 7. If none of the above can be achieved completely, American still want a limited war somewhere, so that they can enlist population like Vietnam, and get rid of unwanted elements in America. 8. America hope that Poland can fire the first salvo against Russia. (These two does not need a reason to start fighting).
