Chinese expansionism

Sir Loin
Sir Loin: OK, so it's been obvious for years that the CCP wants to expand China's borders but where will it stop?
There are constant border skirmishes with India in the Himalayas, they've invaded and build military bases on islets in the West Philippines Sea (which they call South China Sea). Even occupied islands belonging to Vietnam, Brunei and Laos.
Invaded Tibet and displaced 80,000 locals to be replaced by Chinese military families.
Now in the latest outrage Chinese troops have crossed into Bhutan and built 2 villages to house their troops.
Of course Taiwan is an age old dispute.
Is the world heading for another major war?

The giant midget: I have thought about it
I forgot about it and I really don't care about it.
China can do whatever it wants ,whenever it wants and the only thing that we will hear is the world condemning China about its behaviour nothing more nothing less than that from all political leaders.
The world needs China for everything from tooth picks, out wear ,hairdryers ,toasters ,dildos , TVs, underwear, surgical gloves etc.

The giant midget: I am a very strong believer and advocate that every nation should be self dependent and not rely on other countries.
Supply and keep whatever your nation produces for your citizens consumption, any excess just trade for whatever your country needs.
Prohibit foreign identities in establishing shop or introduce foreign policies in your nation.also don't allow your nations corporate business to venture outside your borders.
No foreign investment in your country.
It's your house your rules.

Why haven't they muscled China since the 1950's like they are doing it with Russia regarding Tibet?
Why haven't they muscled Saudi Arabia past 20 years regarding Yemen ?
Only personal conclusion that I have is maybe they are not white people like the Ukrainians.

kittybobo34: Giant,, what exactly could we do about Tibet and China, its land locked with no way in, At the time the Chinese were totally off the world financial grid as well. As far as Saudi Arabia, we have needed their alliance and oil, but that doesn't mean we haven't been using diplomatic channels to try and curb their behavior. Ukraine on the other hand is an independent nation that agreed to remove their nukes for assurances from both Russia and the USA of their territorial integrity. We owe them on that, and we have no desire to see Russia rebuild the Soviet Union.

Even a treaty was signed.

So Russia broke the Treaty.

I support 2nd amendment here in USA.

For 1... Guns are inanimate objects. Takes a warm blooded finger to pull the trigger.

For 2... If they take our guns away from law abiding citizens, How are we to defend ourselves?

If a criminal or a bad guy knows a residence has guns and has permits and ammo.... they aren't gonna attack/raid that house for fear of being shot for trespassing.

EU keeps on promising Ukraine membership status since 2014 that never materialize and it never will.its just pie in the sky
Just this pass March European state leaders promised to fast track Ukraine with the upmost urgency to become a member of the Union
Nothing yet
European community just wants to keep getting cheaper oil prices out of Ukraine and that somehow is cutting into Russia grass
