Motati, I’m not seeing a correlation between open discussions on race issues and the Hutus and Tutsi conflict.

It’s confusing that you’ll say: “Can't we just move on?” to a topic but still choose to remain among it. The unsubscribing was just a solution presented. No problem if you remain.

I like exchanging ideas and hearing views outside of my own. This thread wouldn’t solve anything except boredom and understanding.

I personally will like for an African American to enter and share their views.

Should history be discussed or ignored?

Should social issues be openly discussed or ignored?

If you thought Safe Schools was bad, wait until you find out what the NSW Education department is doing to make schools unsafe in this state.

As part of an initiative called ‘Racism. No Way!’ children from Kindergarten to Year 12 are being indoctrinated with lessons in unconscious bias, white privilege and institutional racism.

While the initiative bills itself as ‘anti-racism education for Australian schools’, the reality is that it has turned the classroom into a highly politicised environment in which children are being told Australia’s history, as well as its institutions, are racist, and that white people should feel guilty about being white.

What ever happened to school being a place for basic education ffs?
