Reparations. What does that mean ? (Page 7)

I mean it's up there with the Persons rather than People rubbish and my favourite 'ethic' rather than ethics but we all must 'evolve' past that and continue on with our 'journey' , I had an 'Epithany' after all. Jesus bloody Christ, I'm so over all of that. Anyway back to the real deal rubbish which includes reparations as the Yanks (US Citizens) label it. Yes, I'm Australian but the only time I've ever come upon the term reparations was when I heard someone mention it on the TV years ago, on a show from the US. Reparations really is self entitled crap, because you are of a certain Race you selfishly want compensation and so on for being a 'victimized' member of that Race if you are of that Race ? No matter what happened to those of your Race or Religion or to an Ancestor or Ancestors does not and should not entitle you to anything.

If you yourself are someone that was and/or currently a Person that is unfairly treated then you deserve and are entitled to whatever you are solely deserved and entitled to. If you are of a Race or skin colour or both and think that everyone picks on you and your kind because you are of that Race or Skin Colour, where only those of your Race or skin colour matter then you are racist and most likely a bigot in at least another way. Also if you are of a different Race or skin colour or both and think that those I just mentioned in the last sentence where solely those of those Race should be given preferential treatment then you are a reverse racist (which is still a form of racism) and possibly a bigot in another way. There's an interesting thing that Chronology hasn't brought up and that's the ridiculous situation Slave wise that those of Haiti had to deal with for a while. It was about compensation of a different sort, a type that should never have happened. Anyway I will get to some things that are about me personally where racism was and still is present, a while ago when I was out of work an Australian Government Form just as Tax Returns have on them too asked racist questions. 'Are you an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander ?' 'Are you a South Sea Islander ?' I mean seriously it shouldn't make a difference yet they ask those questions and possibly other questions that are racist like if you are a Refugee (no matter if it was by legal or illegal means) all because they give them special treatment based on their racial background. More recently (and I am disgusted that this is so) someone that I am related to was told (correctly or incorrectly) that he's 'Aboriginal' so he claimed to be so in the hope of getting a free housing Loan, he was knocked back, good !

Anyway his brother who is as white as him have Blonde hair, I mean Blonde, Blonde, his other brother has black hair. All of them including his Father are as white as me, I laughed when I heard that they are "Aborigines' and that they had some Ancestors that they are supposed to descend from. If they are are aren't is not the matter. His Father had a Heart Attack recently and has had various forms of surgery is now getting free medical care due to this 'Aboriginal' claim. Meanwhile someone else who is related to them is still having expensive ongoing medical treatment and it's out of her own Pocket. So really if you are White and don't claim to be Aboriginal and/or of Aboriginal ancestry then you are not 'entitled' to special treatment all because your Grandpa or Grandma or Great Grandpa or Great Grandma or Mother or Father was or is falsely considered to be one that is or was (if that Person is dead) Aboriginal. You see, it's not just Blacks mistreated by some Whites, it's Whites mistreated by some Blacks and in the case of what I just mentioned by those of your same race especially by Politicians and so on.

Everyone that is 100 % White is considered White by all, everyone that is 100 % Black is considered Black by all, those that are mainly Black are considered Black by all and those that are mainly White and are partly Black are claimed to be Black by too many, sometimes the Person that is that claims to be Black regardless if anyone else thinks he or she is that. Then there are People that are 50 % White and 50 % Black it doesn't make then Black or White but 100 % of them or most of them claim to be Black. Why is that so ? If you are over 50 % White you are White, if you are 50 % that then you are not White or Black (unless you have Black or White Skin then you should be considered what your skin colour is) and if you are less than 50 % White then you are Black. So enough of the 'Black by default' stuff, it's racist.

GeraldtheGnome: Another example, Meghan Markle is mixed or half cast, not Black as she claims and certainly not White, she does though look Black at times and at other times she looks White, so if she's claimed to be Black then I understand why but if she's claimed to be White because she looks White then I understand why. She's a half caste with a sometimes black appearance to her skin colour and a sometimes White appearance to her skin colour.

GeraldtheGnome: The main thing in my Country is the broken Record BS of Land Rights, you know, the old bit of my Ancestor or at least those of my Race back before I was ever alive had Land taken away so of course everyone that didn't live on that Land naturally should be given that Land therefore that also means that I should be given Land too. Also while we're at it let's change the name of a Mountain or Island or ROCK or something else regardless of whether the 'Indigenous' People in the Area or near it (since in some cases no one classified as 'Indigenous' lives there or simply that those that once lived there died and there is no longer even one descendant) want it to be named the Tribal/Native name. As there is the fact that in many cases that there is no evidence that those labelled as Natives/Indigenous to the Area are certainly that. Anyway I am Black, we are all Black. Why ? Well ask me and I'll tell you why.

Yowemad, though I sometimes consider myself an Anarchist it is false, I am for Anarchic Committees or at least real democracies, I am not for Political Leaders. The USA, Australia and any other Country that you can think don't have a real democracy, instead Political Parties that I care nothing for with Leaders that I care nothing for. In The United States of America (only in name) People have the choice of a Far Left Leader or a Far Right Leader, neither of them are desirable to most People there and outside that Country the way People think about them is the same. In fact they are as ridiculous the idea of Reparations. People of Colour ? White People are People of Colour too. What ever happened to President Kanye ?

GeraldtheGnome: Sorry that I wasn't here at the time. Stuff off the Internet does at times keep me away from here. Dashaw, you have to cut out the White People are priviledged. What happened in the past was wrong, what is happening now by some Blacks and Whites is wrong too. If your ancestors or my ancestors did the wrong things to others then we aren't too blame for that just because of the skin colour. Some White People do think they are priviliedged, not all though so if you think all or most do then don't anymore. The word is Aborigines and it's not a racist term if you look at what it really means. All racism from Whites and Blacks should not be around any more, the said thing is that there will always be racists. Black Lives Matter is an us and them attitude, if it was just stop any Cop from killing anyone innocent of their own race and of any other race then that would be alright. More importantly all forms of racism by Blacks, Whites and others should be punished in the appropriate manner. If the modern evolution theory is right, which I assume it is, then everyone on this Planet came from a now extinct Black race in Africa, I'm okay with that.
