MJ59: What a sad fellow you have become, I don't even know your address, nor would I disclose it if I did...
Please quote where i slandered you?
"You're an angry, illiterate little twat" would, perhaps be nasty, but not impugning your reputation.. why it wouldn't even constitute defamation on this site with your posting history.
I simply gave you links to people who could help you in life.
Whose back did I stab?
Give me links.
Re: Trump, I don't really care for him at all, I live in Australia not the US

FunLoverNJ: I think the Reparations are for the stores, cities, and persons hurt in the riots since the 5 times felon George Floyd died? Blacks are going to help rebuild the stores, replace windows, and pay for hospital bills, as far as I know. It's totaled over $2 Billion as a current rough estimate. Of course, you cannot put a price on the police and innocent people killed during the riots/protests.

refurbwoodart: No funlvr that isnt what reparations are. It's a paycheck to people who are black. Plain and simple if your black you get a check if your white you pay taxes for those checks period. That's what reparations are.

refurbwoodart: Well they havent thought about native Americans, Irish Americans, Chinese Americans. Blacks arent the only people who werent treated right back centuries ago. If you want to pay every type person who was treated wrong reparations well nobody will be left working to pay the taxes to pay the reparations. It's just that simple period. People dont think about that. Reperation sounds great until you do the math and they only last for about 5 years then the whole country is bankrupt and we have a 45%unemployment rate. Then where will the country be.

GeraldtheGnome: Sorry to nitpick here but there is a common trend to use 'Persons' (which isn't a proper word (though agree to disagree)) rather than the word People. It is like Fishes instead of Fish, it's very annoying in other words. No Blacks should get reparations, what happened to the Ancestor or Ancestors of someone doesn't entitle ANY Descendant to something that that Person does not deserve. To think it is a good thing to do if you are not of the same Race as anyone asking for such a thing is a form of reverse Racism, ergo you are a Racist even if you don't think that you are. Those that should have been given whatever was due to them were the Ancestors of the ones that go on whining about they should be given some entitlement. The self entitled are the worst People around, then again some of the self entitled also believe that coming down with the Coronavirus is a "blessing from God" . That though is another story.

Everyone should be treated equally regardless of Race, reparations and the BLACK Lives Matter movement go against equality. Special treatment because of Race is something I am totally against.

beachguard: So are a lot of other people. Pay one dime and it's never enough; pay another dime and it's used to justify why a dollar may be enough.......even worse is the belief that all black people are alike; which is more a political appeal to round up enough to force through reparations and other preferential treatment ..$$$$. Gotta call them 'BLACK', which for many is a form of reverse racism but it's got a check at the end. Black millionaires were featured in one Black-oriented magazine; didn't visit Nantucket and that famous neighborhood filled with them. I can barely afford the ferry ride over; while they fly in.

Stupid white liberals made to feel guilty will support reparations or made to feel guilty and held accountable as RACISTS should they oppose them.

The court cases filed by Asian students against Yale and Harvard and probably others, exposed the reverse racism of preferential admissions. Liberals are most upset to hear of favorable court treatment.

beachguard: This is the kind of Fact ignored by the NYTIMES and WAPO:

"Anthony Johnson (b. c. 1600 – d. 1670) was a black Angolan known for achieving wealth in the early 17th-century Colony of Virginia. He was one of the first African American property owners and had his right to legally own a slave recognized by the Virginia courts. Held as an indentured servant in 1621, he earned his freedom after several years, and was granted land by the colony.[1]

He later became a successful tobacco farmer in Maryland. He attained great wealth after completing his term as an indentured servant, and has been referred to as "'the black patriarch' of the first community of Negro property owners in America".[1]"

this is disputed of course; but the BBC has the last word:
"Nigerian journalist and novelist Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani writes that one of her ancestors sold slaves, but argues that he should not be judged by today's standards or values.

My great-grandfather, Nwaubani Ogogo Oriaku, was what I prefer to call a businessman, from the Igbo ethnic group of south-eastern Nigeria. He dealt in a number of goods, including tobacco and palm produce. He also sold human beings.

"He had agents who captured slaves from different places and brought them to him," my father told me.

Nwaubani Ogogo's slaves were sold through the ports of Calabar and Bonny in the south of what is today known as Nigeria.

People from ethnic groups along the coast, such as the Efik and Ijaw, usually acted as stevedores for the white merchants and as middlemen for Igbo traders like my great-grandfather.

So Blacks sold and profited from selling and trading Black slaves, revealing the change from White supremacy to the trading of people. AH HAH!

GeraldtheGnome: I realized after I put it that I'm really for fairness for all, not equality. They may seem horrible but it's not, but remember that each of us is not equal to each other and none of us are equal to anyone else. Each of us are worse than someone and each of us are better than someone. Never look for ANYONE of any Race getting reparations for what hasn't personally happened to them and the 'Slavery' mentioned is one that is no longer around. What is still around is Racism, not just by those against another Race by the usual ways of racism but also by those of one race that give special treatment and/or preferences to those of another race, therefore unknowingly White People for Black Lives Matter movements, race based Sport and reparations are all racists. Now if you currently live in the area of Western Australia where some Cave Art was disgustingly blown up all because those of Rio Tinto wanted the Minerals there then I can understand if you are of the local tribal group of that area that you want those that blew up the area to be punished and whatever else should happen. No special treatment for those of the Company or for those of the Tribe, just solely what everyone of them deserves instead, including punishment where there should be and the proper type as well.

GeraldtheGnome: Slavery throughout history was done by those of the same race as the enslaved, sometimes the slaves were of the same Tribe or Country or whatever, sometimes even a Family member was enslaved. Others enslaved those I mentioned and those of any other race and so on, meanwhile others enslaved those solely of any other race or of a particular race. Some of this is similar to the excellent message above my last message on here so far.
