KeithJ: By the way I once put a 350 V8 in a Vega Station wagon it used a lot of gas but was fun .

murrayduan: kieth I had a few Vegas with Chev v8 in my day. One was a Vega panel and 2 coups. Then I did the Austin Healy V8 conversion. Those cars were some of my quickest.

One had a Z28 350 engine with turbo 400 trans. Very quick. My most recent fast car was a 86 Buick GN with Twin Turbo 400 cube Chev V8. 1480 HP at 20lbs boost.

KeithJ: I put the 350 in the rear part of the Vega wagon , I had to put wheelie bars in rear because i had also cut out the wheel wells for bigger tires ,,it was a wheel stand taking off fast hard. ,,as a transmission I fitted a front drive auto from a Cadillac El Dorado
