It’s a funny thing, Keith.....a man can show you, time and again, that he is an inveterate liar and you take your cue from that. That’s how most reasonable people think—unless, of course, you’re talking about Trump supporters. Do you know that, somebody has actually tabulated how many LIES Trump has told since he took office? The estimate is in the neighborhood of TWENTY THOUSAND BALD FACED LIES, believe it or not.

The point is that nobody should be surprised by that; the ONLY mystery is why idiots like davidlyncr still don’t comprehend it. Nobody expects a politician NOT to lie, but this is ridiculous. Just think about that for a moment: virtually EVERYTHING Trump says is a shameless, blatant LIE and he only tells the truth BY ACCIDENT.

Thanks for the clarification, Gram, but I take no consolation in the fact that he hasn’t tried it yet. Surely you realize by now that Trump will do ANYTHING in order to retain power and if you think it WON’T happen, then you are mistaken. Not only has he attempted to steal the election openly without disguising his motives, he has enlisted the aid of the Republicans, who, whether they realize it or not, are helping to usher in an era of authoritarianism which is going to lead to fascism outright.



When they write the history of this era, the Republican Party will have to accept the responsibility that they single handedly helped to bring fascist rule to the United States.



That will be their legacy and that will be their disgrace.

Well, if its absolutely necessary for me to vote in person in order to ensure that my vote won't be negated, lost, "stolen" or otherwise obliterated from public view, then so be it. Its hard to know for certain, but I admire your civic virtue which, if necessary, I plan to emulate and I know that my wife feels the same way.


Ordinarily, people take voting for granted, if they think of it at all. Now, it seems like a matter of life and death----literally.

That's good; actually, here on James island its very similar: there are never crowds and when we voted in the past, it was a relatively simple affair. As far as COVID-19 cases go, our situation is similar: this area has not seen a serious outbreak; hopefully, that situation will prevail.
