Talking about red meat, don't they also say why your should or shouldn't? That till leaves it up to the individual. That remark makes no sense to me either as you are not explaining why the two are different. If one says don't eat red meat because its bad for Cholesterol and the other say do eat meat its good for the vitamins each person decides what is more important to them. So both are good information and not an excuse to not read and make an informed choice.

This is an example of what can be explained very easy. Look what several months of shutdown has down for air quality, traffic, emissions etc.

Lets go to the Covid issue. I understand that it is a hot issue still. There were a lot of smart people and letters written by smart health officials early on talking about how deadly Covid was. I will know of people quoted these finding as facts. I won't go into names but on that is on MSNBC nights with initials of RM I heard quote Fauci and factual in the same sentence . Of course you wouldn't of. Then I read an article from Nature.com an article that says that Covid is not nearly as deadly as they thought. It goes into how they calculated it, they got data from WHO ( some say they are credible, some so not) Went to several countries and got records, talked to several researchers and crunched numbers and said it was not as deadly as they thought.
A lot of Factual statements with different views and different outcomes come in other ways. When its a number of a Dollar amount Both sides can be right. Take for example A tax cut can be the biggest ever and be true, and the other side can say its not so. One could be the biggest in today's money and another tax cut could be adjusted for inflation and be bigger. Another example could be using as a %. That's where an argument is made that the Dow went up 1000 points for the biggest gain in history. The other side says yes, but 30 years ago it went up 10% in one day and that was bigger ( Example)
The one I hate the most is when Base line Accounting or budgeting is used, and the Dem's love this I think it was with Newt Gingrich and the "Contract for America" The Dem's were screaming that the R's were cutting Social security . Well the gov has a thing called base line accounting ( budgeting), that automatically adds a certain amount to the next years budget. It still has to be approved by congress. AS I remember Newt and company wanted to add about 5% to SS but baseline had 7%. Where baseline is not the law. "I think" notice Murray I said "I think" the dem's were at least not telling the truth when they said Newt wanted to cut SS.
Did I give you at least one example of an example as to why I don't think a lot of what some facts that are on the internet and major networks are really facts? If not, your beyond my help.
Also, on your comment about giving reasons to be conservative I gave you my reasons. I don't care if you think they are excuses. Look at Voter restrictions, trying to stop women making choices about their own bodies, trying to pass laws restricting liability to big Business for their actions, or basically most things that would limit maximum profits over safety. IMO it supports Liberalism.

As for Taxes I have no idea what that has to do with facts or opinions? You already explained what was fact and what was opinions. It is a Fact that a Tax Cut can be biggest, or smallest by percentage, adjusted to inflation, biggest this administration or this year but all of those are Facts not Opinions.

Now if someone says it is the biggest of all time the facts will show it to be true or false. Opinions wont change that.

Older stats say 70% of Americans have less then $1000.00 in savings. I would guess today after this pandemic the number is 90% or higher.

The 4 days in the Hospital cost $100,000.00 as soon as he was diagnosed.

That means each of the 7 million plus Americans provided with the same treatment would cost at the low end over 700 Billion to treat.

So nearly a Trillion for Covid that he exasperated with his bungling but no way on payments to average Americans.

The 160 million checks sent out in the first Bill amounted to about 200 Billion. That means the care he wants all to get, "a lie" would equal close to $3600 per American.
