What is Donald Trump's Greatest Failure? (Page 480)

rmclark: I'll add. Where it is illegal to tamper with a jury. A case could be made that they are tampering with a judge. I can't agree with you more Ech. The SCOTUS are supposed to be non partisan and just rule on the bill before them. Is it constitutional or is it not. How many times have we seen Republican judges vote the same and Dem appointed judges vote the same on several bills.

kittybobo34: Except these guys point blank said that they would not vote that way when they were interviewed for the job. Presidence on decisions from earlier courts is supposed to carry weight. Well another right taken away by the party of individual rights,,, or so they say.

To rmclark:

I have a question I would like to put to you. Can you tell me what legislation have Marjorie Taylor Greene and Madison Cawthorne been responsible for that has benefited their constituents and the American people? I have been racking my brains and searching the Internet for ANY such legislation for which they have been responsible, but as far as I can determine, they have not done very much to justify their jobs as Congresspersons and mostly, they seem to be hellbent on provoking the hatred and discontent of their constituents and not much more. Additionally, as a Republican, are you proud of their work as legislators when it seems that all they excel at is inciting the hatred of their constituents and not much more than that?

My question is sincere and was not posed to provoke anger or an argument. I just wonder how I might feel if I were a Republican and I can only surmise that many of their constituents might feel like their “performance” as elected representatives have been less than praiseworthy. Here, I am talking about MTG’s anti-Semitic screeds and Cawthorne’s rather tasteless and embarrassing forays into sexual indiscretion and low level criminality. I am curious to know how YOU feel about their performance in Congress and like I have already said, my question is sincere and not designed to spark a pointless argument. I still retain a rather old fashioned notion that our elected representatives should conduct themselves with dignity and taste and it seems to me that these two individuals have fallen short in that regard. Unsurprisingly, you generally do not see much of this sort of thing from their counterparts who are Democrats and it turns out that a number of your elected representatives seem to demonstrate behavior that does not seem reflective of the dignity and good taste that we might hope to see from Congress. Why are so many Republicans inclined towards crackbrained conspiracy theories, racism and sexual indiscretion? It is a legitimate question for which I would very much like an answer.

I would be most interested to hear just how a registered Republican might regard the performance of the aforementioned individuals.

rmclark: Good question. Where the Dem's have held congress since she has been office, I don't think anything of significance has been passed. I have not read the bills she either introduced or sponsored so I don't really know much other than the names of them. I'll admit, "The devil is in the details" but here are a few Echo.HR 7613 21st Century Free Speech Act. I think everyone should be for free speech. HR Justice for vaccine Victims Act of 2022. I think the Gov should be responsible for mandating a non approved substance into our bodies if there are any problems. That's what happens to Pharma every day. And that should help more Dem's than Republicans shouldn't it seem that way? Oh by the way, there were NO Dem's that supported that one. HR 7125 Stop the spread of Taxpayer Bioweapon's act of 2022. That sure sounds like a good one for all. H.Res.968 Congressional voting accountability Act I think we all want a one person one vote election. I'm guessing you won't like this on but it was to impeach Joe for what all happened when we left Afgan and I don't think you can say that went very smooth. Personally, I didn't like even trying to impeach Joe simply because there was no way that was going to happen. Expel Maxine waters from her financial services committee. I can think of no Republican in congress that could of said what she says and not get censured

rmclark: Ech I don't like the antics and the theater of Greene, just as I've said of Trump's. Her welding a weapon during her campaign ad's didn't gain her any votes. It just got the Dem's fired up. I'll bet that a large percent of us gun owners look down at those that carry in the open I wish that they would just do their job and push their agenda.
