What is Donald Trump's Greatest Failure? (Page 44)

kittybobo34: Ahh Fresh fake news, that is usually true. Trump paid no taxes for 10 of 15 years,, so he is ether a really bad business man, or a really good cheater... Wonder which way he will spin this one.

murrayduan: These tax returns are one of the reasons Trump is fight for his life to be reelected.

It shows he takes what are personal expenses and writes them off as Business expenses.

He deducts 70,000. in hair styling costs but his wife shows income for the same amount.

He deducts consulting fees in the tens of thousands that match his daughters income she receives as a consultant.

Problem, as they are also employees in the Trump Organization which means it can not be a business deduction.

Then he used his Resorts as assets making money, to receive several hundred thousand dollars in loans. Of course the assets are shown to be making lots of money in order to qualify for those loans, but the returns show he told the IRS they are all losing millions.

Now those loans, $450 Million, are due over the next few years and how can he meet the deadline? He also misrepresented the assets to get the loans.

Big trouble. Could not happen to a nicer guy? LOL

Of course as we all know and Trump has said, If you slander me, he will sue you.

Ok that is fair because slander can be sued. One problem though, it is not slander if it is true.

Moral of this story is, Trump has not sued the women he paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to silence, and they say he did.

He has not sued any of the 25 Women accusing him of assault.

He is not suing the women accusing him of Rape.

Like I said it isn't slander when it is true. Whoops.

Nice work if you can get it---what's really astonishing is how many ways you can put your staggering ignorance and lack of education on display.....and yet, you feel NO SHAME at all about it. Amazing.

Sometimes, Fractured, you make it just too easy to mock you. What else have you got going for yourself anyway?

Not much, I can tell you. All people like you ever have is your burning, implacable hatred. Its all you know and its all you care about. How pathetic.

murrayduan: I wonder if a Conservative would like to explain how their Idol, Trump in a 2018 annual Presidential public Financial Disclosure reports income of $434 Million while reported to the IRS a 2018 loss 47.4 Million.

Does that even ring a bell at all? Remember when righty would post what we need is a Business man like Trump to run this Country.

Of course the fact he went Bankrupt several times never phased them as it is a good business ploy.

So even though he said he would release his Tax Returns if elected, he refused too. No bell went off then as righty said it is nobodies business but Trumps.

Well kiddies, now we know why, this "business man" has lost $315 Million just on his Golf courses the last 20 years. Yep plus his several Bankruptcies.

You can fool some of the people most of the time, you can fool a lot of the people some of the time, But you can fool Conservatives all of the time.

Yikes.

So she asks: “Where’s the criticism of their idol spending $70k on hairstyling?” AOC tweeted. “Oh, it’s nowhere because they’re spineless, misogynistic hypocrites? Got it.

Not him, his supporters.

"The Washington Times, for instance, ran the headline “Self-declared socialist AOC splurges on high-dollar hairdo.” A year later, she wants to know where the outrage is for the President."

"At the time of the controversy, Ocasio-Cortez shared how Vice President Mike Pence spent $600,000 of taxpayer funds on a limo trip to Trump’s golf course in Ireland. “I wonder if Republicans care about corruption as much as they care about a woman’s cut & color,” she asked. "

No need to I am not looking for a Conservative who supports Trump or their agendas and ideologies to support their convictions by trying to tell me about things that may or may not have occurred among Liberals in the past.

I don't want to hear unfounded Conservative opinions that ACA caused my Ins. to go up, or Obama lied about keeping your Doctor when for a Fact it was the Ins. Companies trying to maximize profits.

Your story about a Sarah was again just a Conservatives opinion that is not supported by facts. I could not find anything to support a connection to ACA

ACA did not say air ambulance was not needed it was the Ins. companies that did not want pay for it. Dems did not say it was not needed.

I don't want someone to support their beliefs with nonsense like the other choice is Socialist's
Especially when many or our agencies and programs are Socialist/Democratic and Conservatives thrive on Corporate Socialism.

I have had these discussions before and Military, Police, Fireman, Medicare, Social Security, VA H.C. are all Socialist Programs.

A discussion that is based on facts and can be supported with the same.

If your position is Liberals are Socialist then be prepared to support that claim and know what Socialism actually means.

Basically a discussion based on reality not conjecture and events that did not happen.

Maybe we can start with my often asked question never answered, What have Conservatives done that benefits all Americans the last 50 years?

And please read the story I posted link for, Joe the Conservative then tell me why those are all so bad for America?

I'd like to know your source, ( and Rachael Maddow is not a source) And if it was, and if they wanted to, Why did the Dem leaders let them do it? murrayduan: You know for a "fact" that it was the Ins Co's that took airfare out of the insurance policies. I'd like to know your source, "

Well Duhhhh, who pays for the ambulance service should you need one? Do you think it is ACA?

Who is your policy through Medicare or VA H.C. I will guess it is a privately owned Co. which means ACA does not write the plans and what they will pay for.

See this is what I was just saying, I want to discuss actual reasons one supports Conservatism not nonsense. You have fallen into the same old routine of making a unsupported claim about Dems taking away your air ambulance benefit, then ask prove it was not the Dems who did it.

That is the same as saying Conservatives are serial sexual predator's, and if you don't believe that, prove it and don't use Fox Views as your source?

Just use common sense. You have a private plan that all medical claims are paid for by the plan. You no longer have air ambulance and claim it was the Dems or ACA who removed air ambulance from the plan.

So here we go, who benefited from the change in your plan? ACA? Dems?

No your Ins. plan. did. Why would you even think Dems or ACA changed your plan so the plan did not have to provide it to you?

Yet again why your position to support Conservatism makes no sense. You railed about Liberals wanting Gov. to do more for them and you want less Gov influence.

Ok I can buy that but as usual you then ask "Why did the Dem leaders let them do it? While ACA was being so tuff telling insurance co's what to do. Why did they allow it?"

So once again, Conservative on record saying less Gov. followed by why did Gov. let them do it?

Cant make this stuff up.

"They dang sure made me include maternity care in my policy at 62 years of age "

LMAO Ok here we go I will take this slow and easy. In this day and age of Computers and information that know what sex, height, weight and vital statistics of each of their members, do you think they don't understand you are a 62 years old male?

Do you honestly think they raised your premium because you might get pregnant? WTF?

Cmon people if you want to discuss this stuff don't make those kinds of statements.

Yes your premiums go up if more members use more medical care. Yes it goes up if you get older.

No it does not go up for you because the plan includes breast exams or treatment for uterine cancer. H.C. premiums are dictated by the profiles of their consumers.

If your plan has a lot of women that will impact the costs. Just as you might cause premiums to go up for everyone in your plan because of your age, having more women will have an effect. and vice verse.

Going back to an often claim about ACA increasing premiums, it is a fact that increases in premiums had been increasing every year before ACA and actually slowed down after ACA. Yet that did not prevent misinformation to flow just as you offered.

In fact here is from a factcheck site:

"The total average family plan cost increased by 43 percent from 2008 to 2016, but it went up more than double that rate — 97 percent — from 2000 to 2008."

There were increases in premiums for the added benefits required by ACA but everyone benefited from them.

"Those benefit requirements included: covering preventive care without copays or deductibles, allowing adult children to stay on parents’ policies until age 26, increasing annual coverage limits, and covering children without regard for preexisting conditions. Experts also expected a boost to premiums that year simply due to the very low growth the previous year."

Remember you live in a Democracy and sometimes there is a cost for helping those less fortunate then yourselves You could also take advantage of the new coverage.

As for the Gov. knows what's best for you, I think should read the Gov. knows what's best for Americans as a whole.

I never get in wrecks but pay Auto Ins. for those who do. I never had my home burn down but pay for those who do. I will never get Uterine Cancer but willingly pay for checkups for the vulnerable. That is a Democracy.

murrayduan: As I reread my post I guess I am reminded why I am considered a Liberal.

I live in a Country with many different people and ways of life. As I have often quoted the story of Joe the Conservative in my discussions with Conservatives and read the pushback it clearly explains why.

Just as all those benefits Liberals have fought for and won over the decades all of them benefit all Americans.

When Conservatives push back it always seems to be about "me" not "us"

Liberals want free stuff, H.C. for immigrants, money for the unemployed, aid for the destitute, help for those who lose everything to disasters, to not be hindered because of their race, sperm donor, or beliefs, just plain Gov help.

From Conservatives I hear " I want to make it on my own, no help from anyone else etc.

Please tell me who that would describe in America today?

Trump? Gates? Jeff Bezos? The Waltons, " Who?

Yes and asking hard working people to give their money to those who need it is fine but not when those who need it are working for a huge Corp. like Walmart and makes it possible for the owners to take home Billions each year thanks to the subsidizing of their workers.

But I don't think there were many Republicans in the room making it up. And I don't know but I assume there was a lot of "Sausage making" in coming up with the compromising of the law. If you want to consider it a Republican law, I respectfully disagree. But actually I liked the idea as looking for a solution to the health care problem in the US. But it was FOR Mass. not the whole country. To me, if each state would of come up with 50 ideas. Eventually one state could see what works and doesn't work and change their plan to fit "their people". Not having the Eggheads in Was D.C. deciding what's best for all. At least that's what I think
