zeffur: If demidiots were smart (which most of them aren't), they'd attack DT on deficit spending (taking care to show how much of it was due to C-19 & how much of it was unnecessary spending & therefore not with keeping the goal of proper fiscal management to prevent deficit spending & reduce the national debt as any responsible public leader should do.

Of course they'll never do that because none of them are wise & none of them have any fiscal responsibility--Clinton only did it because he it was one of the things he campaigned on & the 1994 Rebublican take-over in Congress forced him to do it.

Great, piss and moan about Liberals because your butt is sore From the kicking you get each day.
Then set yourself up as the Poster Boy for stupidity.

Lets see now, Conservatives have made deficit spending an art form the last 4 decades first Reagan took the Debt from 900 Billion to 3 Trillion.
Bush gave us a 10.5 Trillion Debt and 1.3 Trillion Deficit.

Obama got it down to about 550 Billion before Trump sent it back to a Trillion.

Now you want to make that an election issue Huh? Righty doesn't care who they elect its just about which Candidate from the right who can feed them the most BS.
They elected a Sexual Predator, Criminal, Bigoted Racist, serial Adulterer, who brags about his infidelity's and lack of Morals. So does anyone think Deficits are a deal breaker for Conservatives. WTF
Conservatism is a Disease unaffected by right or wrong.

There are already a vast majority of Americans against Trump and Conservatism. They don't need any more reasons they need the opportunity and ability to vote.

Liberals should attack the impediments to voting, create more polling stations, transportation to voting stations more mail in voting. more absentee voting, National Get out the Vote effort is all that is needed.

Talking time is over, action to get out the vote is needed.

I leave that ^^ for people like you to do, since you're so obviously used to it.

re: "Lets see now, Conservatives have made deficit spending an art form..."

You're preaching to the choir why exactly?? I'm a fiscal conservative--I want there to be zero deficit spending & zero national debt. Next??

re: "Now you want to make that an election issue Huh?"

I was offering demidiots a campaign tip while simultaneously pointing out the hypocrisy of them making such an objection to DT's mismanagement while in office. Lord knows there are damn few demidiots who would ever eliminate deficit spending & the US national debt--doing so would necessitate being fiscally responsible--which is completely opposite to how most demidiots operate.

People would be crazy to vote for Biden. He's clearly got dementia/Alzheimers disease. He isn't fit to server for 4 yrs. I predict once that theme is floated, most people won't vote for him...

Funny one would think that an issue when the claimed best President Republicans have had, had dementia and his wife ran the Country. Reagan.

"US scientists who have found subtle changes in the former president's speech during his term in office from 1981 to 1989.

Reagan was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 1994, Clearly he had onset several years before disclosing it.

"the former president "may have shown signs of Alzheimer's disease as early as three years into his first term."

What does that say about the Party when their best was afflicted for 5 of his 8 years in Office.
Might explain why he was never prosecuted for Perjury over his Iran/Contra Affair.

zeffur: Did you see me agree with DT's fiscal mismanagement?? No.

Clinton was the only PotUS since Reagan's voodoo economics (stimulus "supply-side" economics) became the life-blood of US growth to actually show some fiscal responsibility. And the only reason Clinton supported reducing federal deficit (debt) spending was because it was one of his campaign promises & the Republican take-over of Congress held him to it (not to mention that income tax rates where jacked up during a market boom period--which meant there was plenty of $$$ available so the govt didn't have to spend debt $$$ to get what they wanted. Frankly, they should have kept up the taxes, frozen deficit spending, & continued to use the extra $ to pay down the national debt--that's what any responsible executive would do.

murrayduan: On CBS Online today, for instance, 60 Minutes correspondent Lesley Stahl, in another new book on Reagan, describes a visit with her family to the White House in 1986, ending her time as a White House correspondent. She writes,

"Reagan didn't seem to know who I was. He gave me a distant look with those milky eyes and shook my hand weakly. Oh, my, he's gonzo, I thought. I have to go out on the lawn tonight and tell my countrymen that the president of the United States is a doddering space cadet."

It started early on.
