murrayduan: The first amendment does not require the press or media to report lies or misinformation if they choose not to. The press can print lies if they want. That is why Fox Views can spew all the lies they want.

If Twitter, News Media or any social media wants, they do not have to report anything they find offensive or damaging. The 1st amendments allows people to lie, look no farther then the Trump administration. No one is forced to repeat the lies.

One more time please think or at least read you posts before posting. Save everyone the time to correct you.

murrayduan: prair at some point one would think you would ask yourself, Hmmm Trump is upset that a media allowed him to lie but posted a link to the facts.

Normal people would think that is strange Trump is pissed that his lies could be so easily shown to be lies. Yet you and many other who idolize Trump think geee exposing his lies is interfering with the election or the 1st Amendment? Yikes.

It also says, how easily Trumps based is duped. That is scary.

Campion: Donald Trump is no genius but he does have a certain level of intelligence. He is hampered by a poor education but the fact that he doesn't like to read means that he has never made up that deficit. Many of his lies are simply out of ignorance because of his lack of knowledge and his reluctance to take advice. On the other hand, he will say anything at any time to anyone if he thinks it will gain him some adulation or advantage.

Echolegacy:

Campion, that is a very concise and salient point about how Trump’s lack of formal education and his obvious indifference to its importance hinders his “performance” as our Commander-in-Chief. It also helps to put his appallingly arrogant claim that, regarding our “broken” system of government, “I alone can fix it,” but as we both know, that is nothing more than the braggadocio of a manchild with frighteningly autocratic tendencies.

The fact that he lacks the requisite self awareness which most adults take for granted is a terrible indictment, not just of Trump himself, but also, of our tendency to let the government run on “auto pilot,” for lack of a better analogy.

This is how republics and representative democracies die, but what can be done to stop it?

murrayduan: There is a solution. America has allowed the wealthy to dictate their desires and wants.

Like was said above the rich have smart people like all economic groups have and dumb people like all have.
The issue is the rich have the money to impose their will on the rest of America.

As a whole America does not support the nonsense we have witnessed with Trump or many of the problems we have endured in our lifetime. They still occurred because the rich rigged the system.

The best solution is to make sure every American votes. That is why the rich are rigging the system. By making voting in person more difficult the right gives themselves the best chance to win. When States have districts with ten of thousands voters and 5 stations to vote miles away from the voters, many cant vote.

Mail in voting is the key. There is a reason Trump and righty tries to instill fear of fraud in voting by mail. There is none.
This is what started Trump on his rant about Twitter, Trump tried to instill fear over voter fraud and Twitter allowed people to see the Truth.

Imagine how much better off we could be without Bush Jr, and Trump as President who both won elections without winning the popular vote.

Washington, Oregon, Colorado and Utah vote by mail. Only Utah is considered a Red State.
Why because everyone gets to vote.

murrayduan: We would not have had a couple wars going on. We would have had a National Debt at close to zero. We would not have had the recession and our standing in the World would still be at the top instead of scorned by many former friendly Nations.

We would still have regulations in place that would protect the environment. We would have handled the virus the right way. Remember Trump said in an email few years ago that the USA was at 98% ready for a Pandemic right before he dismantled the response agency for Pandemics and reduced the budgets.

A week before the Trump administration took office in January 2017, Obama administration officials focused on the dangers of a pandemic in a briefing for top Trump aides"

We would not have all these indictments and convictions and the most corrupt Administration on record. Reagan would still have that record.

Even better we wouldn't be wasting all the Democratic Presidents time and effort putting the Nation back together like after Reagan and Bush and soon the next President will have to do.

Kitty: the moment it becomes apparent that a Trump supporter starts in with childish and puerile insults and name calling, you know, for certain, that you’re wasting your time by responding. Such people DO NOT argue from fact based evidence, neither do they think in terms of ideologies, economies, or other abstractions. The full extent of their reasoning power only allows them to spew their abuse like children, only to invite the equally childish response, “ I know you are, but what am I?”

That’s fine if you’re in a schoolyard but as far as political debate? You’d have better luck with trying to explain a proposition from Wittgenstein to an ape, so don’t waste your time.

murrayduan: plumber, tell us about Hillary's crimes can you? In fact I will list Trumps best traits so you can compare the two.

Trump: a bigoted, misogynistic, homophobic, serial adulterer, sociopathic liar, white nationalist, multi bankrupt, sexual predator, who has been convicted for civil right's violations, criminal use of funds in his casinos, criminal use of funds in his charity, fraudulent college businesses, who in 3 short years has the most corrupt administration in history, while being sued over 2,500 times by business associates and victims, while evading service to America by dodging the draft, and being responsible for over 50,000 unnecessary American deaths for his mishandling of the Corona virus, is just some of Trumps accomplishments.

NYC master plumber: I did a few plumbing and fire suppression jobs for Donald .

Donald did negotiate prior to giving out the contract but once we agreed the payments came in promptly .

I was able to hire over 50 employees under the Bama regime

I did what the "OBUMMA" suggested

I helped "Spread the wealth" by hiring "citizens of the world " Benin, Guinea, Peru, Ecuador etc

I fired most of the American born employees saying your replaced by minorities sorry.

They tried to sue but having minorities / women working instead of whites born here no lawyer would take their case

By hiring from other countries I \was also given more federal and state work by having over 60% minorities in my employ so the libertards would be thrilled

My accountant sat down with me and explained the fact of business life and told me about a host of programs geared for those who hired minorities and I did not need to have union employees to work on a union job as no prime contractor would dare stop minorities from working

By firing white employees and hiring minorities I was able to be 10% -15% higher in my bids then non minority companies and still be given the contract called "set aside" contracts

I was also informed I was able to get half their salary picked up by federal funding under some programs such as ACORN and head start etc as long as I had more minorities then whites

Even the helpers came under the "trainee" program meaning as helpers learning a trade the federal government paid 50% of their salary plus I was given a federal tax break

My Net increased by over 200%

White employees want to much money to work and paid days off for being non productive

Obama was right citizens of the world and spreading the wealth to non citizens is the righteous thing to do

NYC master plumber: GOD BLESS liberals as my company was given millions in "Grants" for hiring underprivileged

Although employment and workplace discrimination are illegal practices, it can still be difficult for workers from minority groups to find sustainable employment. Workplace diversity grants provide money for businesses that recruit and hire certain types of employees. These grants give businesses advantages over their competitors and help promote the interests of minority labor.

Types and Function
Grants for diversity in the work force can come from private or government-run sources. In each case, a work force diversity grant seeks to lead businesses to hire more workers from minority backgrounds. Some focus on specific industries, regions or types of workers. Others are more general and apply to any business that needs money to expand its recruiting efforts into nontraditional sectors of the labor market. Many types of businesses and public employers are eligible for workplace diversity grants, unlike other types of grants that are available only to nonprofit agencies.

Private Diversity Grants
Some of the grants that promote workplace diversity come from private sources. For example, the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies offers diversity grants for alternative, independent weekly newspapers that recruit and successfully employ writers and photojournalists from diverse backgrounds. Another example is the Central Oregon Youth Corps, which works with the U.S. Forest Service to promote diversity training and hiring in the field of forestry and natural resources management.

Government Grants
Federal government agencies also supply workplace diversity grants, both to private employers and other government offices. Many of these grants focus on the health care industry. For example, the National Institutes of Health administers trainee grants through its Recruitment and Retention Plan to Enhance Diversity. This program is available to all types of employers in the medical and health research industries when they hire and train workers from disadvantaged and minority backgrounds. Likewise, the Health Resources and Services Administration's Nursing Workforce Diversity grant pays for health care employers that hire nurses from minority backgrounds that are underrepresented in the field of nursing as a whole.

Outcome
A business that receives workplace diversity grants gets money to help offset its recruiting, training and employee orientation costs. For businesses that routinely hire workers from diverse backgrounds, grant money can constitute a significant portion of a human resources budget, freeing up money for spending and investing elsewhere. When businesses hire diverse workers, they also help themselves by bringing in new skills and viewpoints. Workers from different cultural and family backgrounds offer different perspectives for challenging conventional wisdom, solving problems creatively and considering all angles of complex problems.
