The odds of me being murdered in a Walmart is a million to one odds. Lighting hitting me on a clear day is more likely. I shop at Walmart for just a few hard to find items that the 3 local grocery store chains do not carry. And dangerous? I once got lost in NY and ended up in the Bronx at 2 am after a late flight. Was going to Westchester and got off at the wrong exit. I knew I was going in the wrong direction when garbage cans were on fire and gas stations had barbed wire and bullet resistant glass at the pay booth. .  SandraL57: I dont buy food at Walmart, I may go in a few times a year thats about it. The larger danger there is being run over by fat women. Worse yet they bend over right in the center of an isle and wont budge, all while having a full conversation on their cell phones. And I am too nice to say could you move please. So I turn around and go a different way. Not to mention the fact they are wearing skin tight see thru leggings (Edited by SandraL57)  chronology: I must say David Old Chap you seem to have a fixation on insane people out of proportion with the actual facts regarding such people. Some time ago a high ranking police man in London responded when asked about the threat from insane people responded 'for every mentally ill person who attacks regular members of the public there are 30 people with mental health problems who are attacked by regular people' the Police man said violence and harassment of the mentally ill is just never reported. How some one like yourself would even meet a 'crazy person' is beyond me. I have visited Walmart countless times and never once seen a crazy person there. In 30 years the only disturbance I have seen is two mom's who got into an argument in the cafe regarding their kids arguing. The security broke up the dispute in less than 2 minutes and never had to call the police. He took a complaint from one woman about the other. Mentally disturbed people usually are attracted to religion and fringe politics, can't see you having any interest in such activities. What you call mentally ill people is most likely very aggressive people. These people are not crazy, they are just disposed to use violence without much provocation. I always remember the two guy's who began punching hell out of reach because one was delayed by the other using a mobile cell phone. He was parked behind the other guy who was talking on a cell. He tooted his horn for the other guy to let him past and the Guy on the cell jumped out of his car and called 'have you got a problem' ? Next thing they just flew at each other and started punching the daylights out of each other. They were not mad, just very aggressive people. Mentally ill people are usually Homeless and never use gas stations. Again someone like yourself would never meet such people. Can't think why you are so worried about such people. MJ59: "davidk1: .
