Most politicians and govt agencies, manipulated by the very rich RoyalTruthJustice: Think of government agencies (esp in America, and nations that are American allies) are controlled (directly and/or indirectly) by very wealthy individuals, some of whom have chosen to use their power, wealth, privilege, to manipulate the target nation towards their own (corporate, religious, ethnic group, financial group's) benefits, then point the finger at innocent groups who don't wield such power. Further, democracy is NOT about all groups having rights protected. The first so-caled Democracy, Greece, did not allow slaves, females to vote. British and U.S., etc democracies are built on that same principle. Many groups in ancient Greece were banned from voting and holding public office. Yet U.S., England and many nations are proud to claim their system of government comes from that same Greek system. (Ancient Greece: In Athens, metics, slaves, freed slaves, atimia, females could not vote. From male population, on ephebes (males that completed military training) could vote. So for intellectuals, those with special physical impairments, and those who thought war was savage/brutality and refused to become an ephebe, voting was blocked. Voting was also blocked if a person was deemed to be a "atimia" (a) found guilty of corruption, etc. b) hadn't paid a financial debt to the state, whether or not that person had a justified cause/case.) Could U.S. and British systems of government become more empathetic, justice preserving, less sexist/ racist/ xenophobic? Yes. But it will take the benefactors of such sexism/ racism/ xenophobia supporting the destruction of such privileges. It will also take the victims (and their supporters) becoming more financially / technically / politically / savvy. (Edited by RoyalTruthJustice) The giant midget: How would you personally achieve such wishes and visions to better society Talk is cheap ,it's always on sale. Since you being AMERICAN and since USA is the best country since FOREVER , with a 2 political party system that can NEVER agree on what day of the WEEK it is Almost forgot Nothing is for FREE RoyalTruthJustice: Talk Is Cheap, your response is logical fallacy. You asked how I would achieve all that I outlined would improve the nation and world. Clearly the funds necessary, and political clout necessary are beyond 1 person. But each of us can analyze and give our feedback. A person can have solutions to X without having the cash/ people in place to implement X (Look into logical fallacies, and strawman arguments, moving the goal post, etc). RoyalTruthJustice: Angry Beaver. Great video and parody song. I feel like I heard it years ago. Thanks again. Will share this, and like you indicated, never gets old.
