The Trump Presidency is just the manifested, shameless and unapologetic representation of the psyche that has existed and has been embedded in this culture and country since the first settlers landed on these shores. This is what "secular freedom" IS all about-the impunity of unchallengeable prerogative. There are those like Joe Biden who'll talk of a restoration of the 'old order', or the rhetorical fire-brands, such as “AOC”, who will argue for a renaissance to the political ethics and morality. Yet, those who don't support this Trump Presidency and those who do support this Presidency know that such a restoration or renaissance is based on the mythical aspirations that made such posturings of outraged propriety a mockery in its own fallibilities and shortcomings, individually and institutionally. Behold "the Man"! Behold the culture from which he's arisen! Unlike the biblical attributions giving “God” as the predicate for the uplifting and downfall of the Kings of Israel and the advent of Jesus as the Christ-Messiah; WE, the post-Darwin generation know better.
