Denmarkian: Democrats Are Going to Have a VERY Hard Time Passing Bills in 2021
https://www.rightamericanfuture.com/articles/democrats-are-going-to-have-a-very-hard-time-passing-bills-in-2021/

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi may be putting on her happy face, but GOP candidates handed her an agonizing defeat by ousting Democrats in every toss-up race in 2020.

“Tonight, House Democrats are poised to further strengthen our majority, the biggest, most diverse most dynamic women-led house majority in history,” Pelosi said before the results were tabulated.

After the votes starting trending Red, she made inane remarks about how the “quality” of her narrowed majority was better. It appeared to be the 80-year-old Democrat’s way of saying size doesn’t matter.

Democratic Congressional Campaign Chairwoman Cheri Bustos also appeared over-confident before the polling stations starting reporting GOP-trending numbers.

“It meant that we are protecting our majority by going on offense early by stretching Republicans thin and forcing them to make tough choices, in their territory, not in ours,” Busto reportedly said on Election Day. “It meant that we recruited inspiring candidates who understand their communities and have lived the same struggles, like their neighbors, deep into the map that we have defined and meant backing that up by building our massive war chest.”

In reality, GOP candidates stunned seven Democrats who expected to win re-election easily and maintained 50 U.S. Senate seats. A pair of Georgia runoff elections will decide the Senate majority, and political experts anticipate Republicans will win at least one if not both races. Speaker Pelosi can only point to her slim and shrinking majority.

But the facts are that this was a self-inflicted political wound. Allowing the fringe element to control the Democratic Party was a major mistake. Riots, looting, attacks, and Defund the Police rallying cries alienated voters. Working families much prefer better schools and safe streets. In terms of police departments, size matters to community members who want more, not less. Chairwoman Bustos sounded frantic as Democrats lost toss-up after toss-up.

“I also want to say the thing we’re all feeling. I’m furious. Something went wrong here across the entire political world. Our polls, Senate polls, gov polls, presidential polls, Republican polls, public polls, turnout modeling, and prognosticators all pointed to one political environment — that environment never materialized,” Bustos reportedly said. “In fact, the voters who turned out look a lot more like 2016 than to what was projected.”

With a few recounts unresolved, Democrats dropped from controlling 233 seats to 222. Republicans reportedly won 205 and lead vote tallies and every outstanding race. That means Democrats are unlikely to earn back another seat. It’s clearly a tale of two parties. One hates America and wants to ravage the countryside while ushering in socialism. The other embraces populism, respects police officers, and puts Americans first. Although the GOP fell shy of regaining the House, Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy forecasts a larger presence in 2022.

“The Democrats praised socialism and advocated to defund the police,” McCarthy said. “Our members made a commitment to America, that they would restore our way of life, rebuild our economy, and renew the American dream.”

Voters made the mistake of trusting Democrats in 2018 who promised to remain moderate in Washington, D.C., only to watch them vote with liberal elites. They didn’t make that mistake twice.

srbiddy09: Let's be friends, David. After all, if a Trump supporter and a dirty "lib" can get along with one another on Wireclub, then maybe we can teach the world something important about tolerance and healing.
