Rather than accept the election results like a grown man, he’s throwing a hissy fit, and it’s becoming increasingly clear that Trump may have to be dragged out of the White House like a toddler at a birthday party. Trump’s never cared much that he’s president and has presidenting to do, but it says a lot that in a week when America added 1 million new COVID cases, the president has been in hiding since hearing of Biden’s win. Rather than help the country move on, he and his team have been busy filing ill-fated lawsuits contesting the election results. According to the Washington Post, even his closest confidants — Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and Corey Lewandowski — have privately said they are worried about the merits of the suits. What’s worse is he’s not going to engage in the normal activities that guarantee a peaceful transition,” Mary Trump told The Guardian. In the interim, she said, “he’ll be having meltdowns upon meltdowns right now. He has never been in a situation like this before.” "All he’s got now is breaking stuff, and he’s going to do that with a vengeance," she added. She warned that Trump would likely be further incensed by Republicans beating expectations in House and Senate races. “It means that people were voting against Donald Trump in this election, but not necessarily against this party,” she wrote. “That will have added so much salt to his narcissistic wounds.” (Edited by MJ59) (Post deleted by Account Closed ) (Post deleted by Account Closed ) (Post deleted by Account Closed ) (Post deleted by Account Closed ) (Post deleted by Account Closed ) | Politics Chat Room 74 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
