Bigotry in President's Cabinet

Metaverseguy
Metaverseguy: This cabinet, and senate, and Supreme court is going to set the country back 200 years. The majority of the administration is Caucasian males. He repeatedly said during the primaries bigoted comments towards nearly every ethnicity and culture- almost every country in Asia, but mainly China, African-Americans who he just labeled as "negroes", even Pence brushed off Africans as 1/3 American.

Don't forget his comments about Mexicans who he labeled on camera as "100% illegal immigrants and outlaws." Why is it that the term African-American is used daily, yet no one can ever utter the word Mexican-American, Hispanic, or Latino. He wrote down he is going to only elect Christians into the Supreme court who are pro-life and will defund Planned Parenthood. He also wants to cancel healthcare for the middle-class.

While I agree that one of the generals comments about the war in Iraq ended in 2003 I don't think they need to cut money in education to build more warheads, but should focus on building satellites and help provide cellphone and Internet access to the entire globe.

Metaverseguy: China is probably the only country where a wall has even worked. During a speech with the prime minister of Israel, Trump said he thinks Israel and Palestine can work out peace negotiations. Even Netanyahu burst out laughing at the idea. There is an infamous wall along the gaza strip there nicknamed the "apartheid wall". Of course the US-Mexico border will be 5-10x longer than any wall on the entire planet, except for perhaps the Great Wall.

Btw nice gold necklace. I'm sure you're a pimp with all the ladies Dave3974.

The Republican controlled Senate refused to help elect a new Supreme Court appointee until Trump was elected so they could keep their partisan control. Almost daily I'm reading new programs that are being cut.

constitution broken: I hate to tell you this, but I've done the math. Mr. Trump GOT the Presidential office with only becuse he got 19.38% of The American population to vote for him; HE IS NOT REALLY the choice of America. He is the choice of 19.3% of the stupidest Americas he could attract with his racist, ultrachristian, right winged retoric. Please, embrace reality Trump was not a choice; he was n anti-choice (anybody but Hllary) and now America will suffer. DRM.

I hope this answers your question. DRM.

Metaverseguy: I agree I'm pretty jaded about the whole political process. Hopefully in 4 years they can get someone in there who will make people excited about politics rather than someone who just wants to drop bombs anytime a diplomatic problem occurs. Honestly, I was hoping that Trump would provide more money in the economy and better jobs, but it looks like he's just giving tax breaks to the ultra-rich and doing Reaganomics all over again and talking about factory jobs. I didn't go to college to push buttons in a factory. I was hoping to make pretty good money. Oh well maybe I can find a magic lamp to rub like Aladdin.

constitution broken: I hope we make it four more years, and my biggest fear is that Mr. Trump plan's to be the last American President one way or another. That's why I'm not waiting and you shouldn't either. There are several impeachment petitions on-line which I have signed and you should too. There are marches & protest's in every major city almost on a weekly basis. Get on-line and look for activist sites where you can join,,,fight now, and if all that doesn't work, I have a "nuclear option of my own"...check out my blog....DRM.

So if anyone thinks a little bigotry is gonna run me out of an on-line chat room your crazy. I know deep inside me there is a little bigotry after all I was raised in 1950's Texas, what can you expect. However I know that is crap from my past. I believe the people are much more motivated by greed rather than by bigotry. That includes Mr. Trump and his group of Billionaires that man the cabinet let's unite to bring them all down...DRM.

constitution broken: I'm aware of all of that T.A.C.M. is my nuclear option; if the Republican's can use one so can we. Then when all these half steps get nowhere; the people will be ready for my "Final Solution" that's why I'm starting now, This is a grass roots movement, and will take probably a year or more to gain steam. You may think I'm being extreme or even crazy, but as the months go by I really think you, and the rest of the American people will start to see the sense of doing what I propose. Over the next few weeks I'm going to be releasing my written opinions and analysis of some of our founding document's along with some of Americas less know (because they don't teach you this in school) history so you'll understand how the founding father sold the people out, and every since then thru the politicians and the Wealthy Elite which has existed in this country since it's very beginning. In fact most of our founding father were members of the Elite. For instance George Washington Had about 300 slaves when he died, By today's standard's that would make him a Billionaire, sound familiar? I'll give you time to think about what I written here, and also let you watch the evolving story on the real news....gob on-line or check Youtube for The Young Turks, if you want to get the real news...and check out my Facebook page over the coming weeks I think you find what I have to say at least thought provoking....take care...drm.

When you have signed both impeachment petitions for Mr. Trump, and the one to have his corporations dissolved in New York State, have gone to a couple of Resist Protests, and maybe a little bit more, because I have,, come back and talk to me about them, until then don't worry I'm doing my part on all fronts; can you say the same?..drm.

Metaverseguy: Are you sure you aren't confusing George Washington with Thomas Jefferson? Washington died sick, after bloodletting which was a common practice of the time. He spent most of his life in the military. Although, he probably had hundreds or thousands of soldiers underneath him. Although, with the chain of command they would have been like slaves and he could have them do most of his chores. Jefferson on the other hand inherited about 200 or so slaves from his wealthy father and lots of land. There he constructed a giant mansion on his property, which documentaries have been done about. I'm sure he accumulated more and this is well-known because he made several comments about slaves and freedom despite owning so many himself.

Not sure he would even be considered a billionaire by today's standards. Don't forget they didn't have railroads or cars in the 18th century. I believe they were still using the steam engine up until that time, which was mostly useful for automating boats so sails could be removed. Even the poorest person today can manage to save up $300 to fly from New York to Los Angeles today. In 18th century no one would ever make that trip until the transcontinental railroad was completed. No one's selling fur skins either. I could compare all day but I'm sure you get the point. I mean richest man in the 18th century? They really didn't even understand microorganisms yet. Polio would be around another 100 years lol

constitution broken: O.K. For those who are historically challenged... Yes Thomas Jefferson had hundreds pf slaves and a Mansion called Monticello....and he would have been a Billionaire then by our 2017 Standards, which means he was richer than Washington. Now that we are done with that, about good old George; he became a slave owner at the age of eleven when his father died.and let him 10 slaves. And yes hes was a soldier for a good part of his life. He got his first taste of battle in the French and Indian War in which he served in the Colonial Militia alongside the British and a couple tribes of Indians against the French and some other Indians in the Ohio Territory; you might be interested to know why he wanted to be part of that World War (one of the First); well his family had considerable interests in the Ohio Valley (land, and allot of it) Mount Vernon was not the only property the Washington family owned. By the time of his death he had 317 slaves, and he put in his will that they should be emancipated after Martha (his wife in case you didn't know) died..He was the first founding father to put that in is will, Several others followed suite. Now in 2017 a penny is worth more than a thousand pennies back then (that's an appropriation, you can do the math, I'm not going to do all your homework for you).. By the way slaves were one of the more expensive "possessions" you could own at that time. For example Ben Franklin had only three slaves...he was not a rich man...one of our few founding fathers that was not. By the way they had no steam engines in 1790 and yes, the had no cars, trucks, or railroads, the hadn't been invented yet either. Land and slaves were the primary markers of wealth at the time. So yes, both Washington and Jefferson would be considered Billionaires by our standards.
But that shouldn't bother you too much most of of founding fathers were rich or came from family's that were rich before they were born. In fact most of our founding fathers had college degrees when most Americans could neither read or write. Once again Ben Franklin was one of the only one's that did not, His formal education ended at age twelve; he was one of the only self made men in our founding father's. Why do you think he is the only non-president to be on our currency? Because he tried to make the founding fathers do the right thing on slavery but he and the ones that sided with him were outvoted by the rich slave and land owners and that is how our Constitution became a compromise between the states, and the New Federal Government over a division of powers and the people are only mentioned in four clause of the Constitution and at that in very vague language That's why they added the bill of rights only three years later. Ten Amendments to the Constitution, to spell out what the people's rights were, and since then we have had only 17 Amendments to the Constitution in the two hundred and twenty six years of it's existence. When over 11,539 Amendments have been proposed to congress (some of them were probably good and some bad, but we'll never know). If you need to know more about American history or government let me know, or try using your computer, it's right in front of you, then perhaps in your next comment you'll make a little more sense...no insult intended...drm.
