Dennae: The UN General Assembly passed a motion changing Palestine's "entity" status to "non-member observer state" by a vote of 138 to 9 in 2012.

The countries that don't recognise Palestine (Israel, USA, England, Canada, Australia, NZ etc) believe that the establishment of this state can only be determined through direct negotiations between Israel and the PNA (Palestinian National Authority).

Just like the negotiations that took place between Israel and the PNA when Israel was established

Define what you mean by 'recognise Palestine'.
Are you referring to the following:
1) The recognition of the right of Palestinians to national independence and self determination.
2) The recognition of the area of Palestine as a sovereign state.

I see no issue with the above. But let's be real here, the US should but the US wouldn't. They've gone so far as to even try to sway (some will use the appropriate word 'bully' ) other countries from doing the above.
Israel honestly does not want the above to happen under any circumstances and now that Trump has won they've made it even more publicly clear and taken very active measures to take more land. You might recall Netanyahu's statement that if he is elected there will be no Palestine state.

Summary: Sure, the US should but their government will not.

Everyone is for a two state solution except the Palestinians. Fact.

If that statement was not true, Hamas would not be apart of the current government. There is no way Israel can tolerate Hamas as part of the solution.

They are the problem and need to be disbanded. Once that happens, there will be a two state solution. Everyone knows that.

Its about time for Hamas to be disbanded along with Hezbollah and then peace will occur. Perhaps Goerree is suggesting that Israel get rid of Hamas and Hezbollah. Not gonna happen. Way too much collateral damage for both sides. Hamas and Hezbollah need to be disbanded by the Palestinian people and we just know this is just not gonna happen.

S W l N E: Goerree, what will Israel recognise? They're already building on the so-called negotiated lands and should the Palestinian protests, you know where that leads.

So in all Palestine has no choice, the current leader in Israel has made it clear he is not going to recognise Palestine, it doesn't go in line with the teachings of Judaism. The Palestinians aren't chosen people. And the current leader of the US gives him support in lieu of being neutral.

There ya go.

Swine. Please. Hamas is the wall that is holding back peace. It is the only reason. Israel knows that the Palestinians will never ever kick out Hamas and the other radical Islamist extremist terrorist organizations that are committed to the death of all Jews. That is the fact of the issues in Israel and the WBank and Gaza. So, Israel is moving forward without the Palestinians. Simple.

IF the Palestinians want peace...Get rid of Hamas.

Other than that, you have nothing else to discuss. Just get rid of Hamas.

And then peace.

You want peace? Get rid of Hamas or pay the price and that price is to lose Palestinian identity....forever.

Simple.

Here is basic logic which escapes davidk14 because he is caught up in his personal beliefs.

I said that I am sharing a cake. A cake that wasn't originally mine.
I said I'm cutting said cake and I'm giving Goerree a small piece.
Yet I'm busy eating the cake bit by bit, removing the bits on Goerree plate.
Yet I'm preaching from my political platform that I'll not recognise or share with Goerree.

Only an absolute fool will believe my intension is to share and be just in my sharing. Hamas has nothing to do with Israel continously removal of Palestinians and continously building on these so called negotiated lands.

Here is the thing I'm straight up, I don't care if you believe God give you land. Palestinian should be recognised and handle themselves as much as Isreal. No one is special or chosen. No PC bs.

Isreal has zero intention on treating Palestinians fairly. They made that clear.

You are a fool...once again. Your argument is not current. If anyone would use your argument, then they would say all white people should leave the United States and give it back to the Native Americans?

Well, if we do that, then Israel stays Israel since it has been Israel for over 2000 years when Moses brought the Israelites out of Egypt and settled in the land of milk and honey.

So, once again, your position supports Israels right to exist since the land belonged to the Jews thousands of years ago. But if you try and argue about time, Israel is Israel is Israel and nothing is gonna change that.

You want peace between the Jews and Muslims? Get rid of the 1% radical, extremist fundamentalist Islamist that not only want to take over Israel...but the world.

Peace would come if the moderate Muslim took out their trash.

You said that Hamas has nothing to do with Israel. You are 100% wrong and for being this wrong, you are totally uninformed of their charter. Look it up. It basically says, "Kill all the Jews".

Israel stance: No land for Palestinians. No Palestine.

Like I said, Hamas has nothing to do with Israel continuously demolition and building on said negotiated lands. Then why the continuously building and bulldozing even when no attacks are made on Israel, simple, there's no intention to recognise a Palestine.

Israel is not special. Moses is a myth. Proceed to show the deed God signed.

If it were not for Hamas supported by Iran to cause the genocide of the Jewish people, there would be peace in the middle east.

You've signed peace deals with neighbors.

Would you give up your backyard to a neighbor that wants the death of your family especially then you have tried numerous times to sign a peace treaty? Of course not.

Israel is not building on Jordanian or Egyptian land...right?

Technically, the WBank is Israel's until a peace deal is signed. So, since the Palestinians do not want peace, then the land is still Israel's.

Now if they sign a peace deal, the land would become Palestinian. So get to the signing already.

Israel has signed deals for land before.

It's bad enough that you have a really bad neighbor that threatens the death of your children in the name of Allah.

Pretty sick you gotta agree.

Farouquddeen Mumtaz: Yeah poor Israel, with all its military might, it's afraid of a few Hamas retards that are hiding behind that hill with some hobby-grade sugar-rocket cans.

"Well, get rid of those Hamas retards then? Looks easy!" is what you would say? Yep, pretty logical.

But "Nah, only solution is to annex more of Palestine " is what Israel says.

Now, obviously, if you have a few honest neurons inside your head, and you could rub them gently, you would easily conclude that:
1. Hamas is peanuts/joke.
2. Israel wants Hamas to exist.
3. Israel uses Hamas to justify more annexation.
