WHY IS THE DICTATORSHIP IN TURKEY IGNORED (Page 3) Farouquddeen Mumtaz: As for what you should do, this is a long list. I leave it to another day. But you mention one good point: Islam unites bitter enemies of the west. This is one reason that I suggest to never get rid of Muslims, because gitting rid of them means that the bitter enemies of the west will fight each other, as there will be nothing that unites them as strongly as it is today. It will be a lot worse when western powers fight each other than when they are annoyed by a few powerless Turkish or Muslim pests that throw cheap troll attempts. In other words: getting rid of Muslims has the curse that it will cause you you to get rid of each other. It's funny, but it resembles some strong similarity to the food chain: cockroaches have some use. You can't get rid of them, unless you cause a far bigger issue. (Edited by Farouquddeen Mumtaz) ghostgeek: I doubt that Muslims, world wide, need concern themselves with a genocidal war of extermination coming their way any time soon, at least not from the West. America, that icon of all things Western, has as its leader a man whose talent seems to consist entirely of sowing confusion. The next four years should be a textbook example of muddled leadership resulting in no discernible achievements. Given the circumstances, possibly the best outcome to be desired. dave3974: I see the Turkish government has now approved headscarves for women in the military--another move away from a secular state ---thenk god the EU will never admit them ghostgeek: It's what seems to happen when an avowedly Islamic party gets hold of the reins of power. Government turns into an Islamic dictatorship. fanara55: Despite the political situation, Turkey is still a wonderful place to visit. Friendly people, interesting things to do and the cuisine has improved enormously over the last 30 years. ghostgeek: I guess it's up to the individual. If you don't mind holidaying in a war zone, I'm sure Turkey is a fine place to visit. dave3974: Turkey islamics deport Dutch cows !! Turkey’s ongoing spat with the Netherlands is fast descending into the absurd. Members of Turkey’s Association of Red Meat Producers loaded 40 Dutch Holstein cows onto a truck and sent them packing to Holland to protest Dutch authorities' refusal to allow Turkish officials to campaign on Dutch soil for the constitutional referendum that would further empower Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He would have sorted these Turkish idiots out PDQ dave3974: turkey is corrupt and Muslim politicians can not be trusted--anyone in turkey who cheered his victory that drnks alcohol or is female without a hijab ---will have a hell of a shock soon briansmythe: Wasn't he the one that made the Quote Decromarcy is like a train , Ride till you get where you want to go and then get off lol (Edited by briansmythe) ghostgeek: At least you can go to bed safe in the knowledge that Erdogan is a bona fide Muslim politician. He knows how to fill his own pockets with other people's money. briansmythe: I herd most western businesses have started pulling out , hardly any tourism , hes got his palace , Yeah Cant trust them alright , Its all over for them lol | Politics Chat Room 78 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
