Nationalism and Multi-culturalism

Farouquddeen Mumtaz: Nationalism is tribalism. We, being the bi-pedal mammals that we are, are naturally programmed to stay in our tribes, and fight against those of other tribes.

This is also found in other animals such as monkeys. Basically a monkey from a different tribe is considered an enemy, just as if the monkey is not a monkey but rather some other specie.

Nationalism is exactly that very same tribalism that even monkeys have. Nationalism/tribalism, is very natural. We are used to it.

When someone supports nationalism, it is an easy process: just do what you like to do in nature. And it is very easy to find locals that agree with you. Because they are just moving towards the direction of nature.

On the other hand, multi-culturalism, is against the nature. Multi-culturalism is a fight against nature to change and abolish tribalism. Therefore, it is always uneasy to adopt to multi-culturalism. If you see someone very different to you, looking different, speaking differently, worshipping a different God, you naturally feel uneasy. Because you are still an animal that is used to the natural phenomenon of tribalism.

However, since multi-culturalism is uneasy and unnatural, does it mean that multi-culturalism is intrinsically inferior?

My answer is that, so far, multi-culturalism is great, even in the cases when the nationalists/tribalism are following their natural instinct to hate it.

Multi-culturalism brings you a higher degree of diversity in your social fabric, which will allow you to find more optimum individuals at certain job positions. This diversity also helps your economy by increased collaboration with more humans.

You don't need everyone to be a great engineer, or cook the same food. You need to see more diverse ideas, in order to achieve "diverged thinking", which is profitable to economy.

In a nutshell: multi-calculralism = collaboration, and nationalism/tribalism = backwards unjustified behaviour that is closer to monkey behaviour than a modern evolved human being.

Farouquddeen Mumtaz: One simple case that happened were multi-culturalism lost to the more natural tribalism/nationalism is the case of Brexit: a clear shining example of nationalism/tribalism.

The result? UK lost 15% of its millionaires because of Brexit [1], and the panic of Brexit alone caused a 2 trillion USD loss of value in UK's market [2].

But based on his looks, he is a native Swedish dude. And generally there is almost no white Swedish dude that is a Muslim.

So the prior probability that he is a non-Muslim is pretty high. Almost 1.

If you read the comments section of your video, you will see the following: "WHY ARE THERE SO MANY MORONS WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS IS BEING DONE BY SWEDES TO SHOW WHAT THE WAVE OF MUSLIMS WILL BRING TO SWEDEN?".

Based on the context of that paragraph, it is very clear that he means it's non-Muslim Swedes.

I agree Muslims from uneducated backgrounds are the main culprits but Muslims generally are not well educated.
Indonesian Muslims haven't took part in these gangs nor have Indian ones
