Why Trump won, a message! (Page 6)
tularcitas: As a Jew Trump scares me a bit. He seems to not have anything negative to say about neo- Nazis. Also, fascism is state sponsored corporatism along with a strong sense of nationalism...Trump is pushing all of our allies away.

I don't understand. He broke the law so why isn't he in jail?
Perfect question. What law did he break? If he did break a law, why didn't the House get a Grand Jury to indict him?
Reason? No law was broken.
That is why Nancy Pelosi is sitting on the impeachment without sending it to the Senate.
This is what she feared might happen if Schiff or Nadler did not uncover a crime.
They told her that Trump broke the law and she said well ok, then, let's get on with it.
However, she got snookered by Schiff and Nadler. No crime. She is so fucked right now.
So, Trump is calling her bluff and demanding her to send the articles of impeachment to the senate. She can't. She is sooooooo screwwwwwwwwwwed.
However, during the Senate trial, and this is what no one is thinking about right now, the President's attorneys will have the right to subpoena and question ANYONE THEY WANT.
That is different than the special counsel investigation, which was very one-sided. So, during the Senate impeachment trial, we will be hearing testimony from:
....and a whole host of other participants in this whole sordid affair and the ensuing cover-up activities.
A lot of dirt will be dug up; a lot of truth will be unveiled. Finger-pointing will occur. Deals will start being made, and suddenly, a lot of Democrats will start being charged and going to prison.
All this, because, remember, the President's team will now, for the first time, have the RIGHT to question all of these people under oath – and they will turn on each other. That is already starting.
Nicotina: The Impeachment Process in a Nutshell
1 -The House Judiciary Committee deliberates over whether to initiate an impeachment inquiry.
2 - The Judiciary Committee adopts a resolution seeking authority from the entire House of Representatives to conduct an inquiry. Before voting, the House debates and considers the resolution. Approval requires a majority vote.
3 - The Judiciary Committee conducts an impeachment inquiry, possibly through public hearings. At the conclusion of the inquiry, articles of impeachment are prepared. They must be approved by a majority of the Committee.
4 - The House of Representatives considers and debates the articles of impeachment. A majority vote of the entire House is required to pass each article. Once an article is approved, the President is, technically speaking, "impeached" -- that is subject to trial in the Senate.
5 - The Senate holds trial on the articles of impeachment approved by the House. The Senate sits as a jury while the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court presides over the trial.
6 - At the conclusion of the trial, the Senate votes on whether to remove the President from office. A two-thirds vote by the Members present in the Senate is required for removal.
If the President is removed, the Vice-President assumes the Presidency under the chain of succession established by Amendment XXV.

Impeachment is different than a trial through the Federal Criminal Process. An impeachment does not require a Grand Jury, the Judiciary Committee approves articles of impeachment.
As an aside - The use of grand juries to charge defendants is not required by all states, but it is a requirement in federal felony cases unless the defendant waives the grand jury indictment.
Nicotina: @david1k a grand jury is not used in the impeachment process.
As per the Constitution of The United States of America.
Article I, Section 2, Clause 5
The House of Representatives shall chuse their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.
Nicotina. Did the House find that any law was broken? No.
Therefore, because the House is ruled by the Democrats, they can do and say anything they want. This 'impeachment' was not like the Nixon or Clinton impeachments because laws were broken and identified in the 'impeachment'. Nixon resigned before it went to the Senate. Clinton was impeached for lying to the Grand Jury.
With this 'impeachment', Nancy is holding up moving the articles that were only voted on by democrats, because, she knows, she got screwed by Nadler and Schiff because she trusted that they had evidence that Trump had broken laws. Remember Schiff saying he had evidence that Trump was a Russian spy?
It's going badly for Nancy.
It's like this, you have been charged with robbing a bank Nicotina. You are in court being charged with robbery, and other assorted crimes. However, no bank has been robbed.
Schiff and Nadler told Pelosi, they know which bank but they need to withhold that until.....
...you know, just like the whistleblower.....who had it all wrong. Remember that Schiff was going to put him in front of the committee...but couldn't because he found out it was all lies and that the whistleblower wasn't on the call, was a hater of Trump, and had all the facts wrong.
Nicotina: david1k, the House impeached Trump under Article 1 for Abuse of Power and under Article 2 for Obstruction of Congress.
The entire Articles of Impeachment of are available at https://judiciary.house.gov/sites/democrats.judiciary.house.gov/files/documents/Articles%20of%20Impeachment.pdf
Please note that the Senate sits as a jury while the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court presides over the trial.
This is the legal process set out under The Constitution of The United States of America.
I'm not sure why this is so difficult for you to understand. The links were provided so please read them at your convenience.
Article one is about the 'call':
So, in a court of law, the first article was gone over numerous times in the House. Not one of the 17 handpicked Democratic witnesses said that there was anything illegal with the call especially when Trump turned over the call and that....is where Nancy got screwed.
They did not expect him to turn over the call where dozens of folks were listening and being transcribed. And not one person said that it was transcribed inaccurately. This is where Nancy got screwed by Schiff.
Article two is about Trump not working with congress to impeach him.
What the House was "SUPPOSED" to have happened was for the House to go to the Judicial and ask them to make Trump comply with their wishes to impeach him. Now, if he did not comply with the Judicial, THEN they could charge him with obstruction.
Nicotina, back to the bank.
He was charged with robbing the bank. Now one witness saw the robbery. Not one witness knew where the bank was. No bank was robbed.
Nancy can not move this forward. She trusted Schiff and Nadler and they failed her.
I want it to go to the Senate for trial. I want the Republicans to call all the witnesses that they were not allowed to call in the House debacle including...
Why all these folks? They all were apart of the hoax Russia Hoax, the Ukrainian Hoax and they are both tied together at the waist and Trump is being accused of abuse of power?
Let him have his day in court.
Let's do this. Tell Nancy to move forward!
Nicotina, you did not even have time to read my post and you say read the constitution as your rebuttal?
You sound like that ignorant Sandra.
Respond to my post and tell me where I am wrong.
Nicotina: You were wrong about the grand jury, you are wrong about the entire proceeding of impeachment, you are wrong about who sits as the jury. There is no need to rebut the other points you made in your post.
I told you where you where wrong and where to find the pertinent information so the choice is yours as to if you wish to be educated. I'm not about to sink to level of name calling.
Was I wrong that not one person on the call said Trump broke any law?
Was I wrong about the whistleblower not telling the truth?
Was I wrong about Schiff lying about that he had evidence that Trump colluded with Russia?
Was I wrong about Schiff said he was going to bring in the whistleblower but then decided not to because we found out that he and the whistleblower colluded before he filled out the form and that the form had been changed to allow 2nd hand knowledge but then when Trump produced the call, the whistleblower information was fake?
Was I wrong about article two where Nadler should have first gone to the Judicial to get the administration to comply with the House first before filing for obstruction?
And finally, if the case for impeachment was so strong, why is Nancy holding back?
Why is Schumer wanting to call more witnesses when they had voted to impeach?
Schiff and Nadler had all the time in the world to call all the witnesses needed to vote on the impeachment articles.
What, Schumer, another liar, does not think the articles are strong enough and he and Pelosi are going to hold it up because of what?
I'll tell you why Nicotine, Schiff and Schumer came up empty. They screwed the pooch. And what's really sad, you know it.
Seriously, Nicotine, just admit it, you are still pissed Hillary lost. Get over it already. You are just joining the loony toon leftist socialists. You probably like AOC and her hate crew as well;
Have you seen the polls lately showing Trump support is going through the roof? He just got 600,000 more endorsements.
Sep 09, 2019 · Donald Trump Just Got a Huge Endorsement from America’s Police.
That says it all.
It was. Read the Hamilton Papers where he wrote and warned that the impeachment process must be bipartisan or that one party could do exactly what is being done here. Nancy started this a few months ago stating that it had to be bipartisan where both parties agreed or she would not move forward. However, the extremists in the dem party forced her to have Schiff and Nadler move the debacle forward and now she is just out there trying to figure out how to survive. Not moving this monster forward is her political Gallipoli.
