gronchbove: I agree.

Rebecca is off on her own escapade.

I have noticed that the US is one of the primary motivation for the UK staying in the EU.

The US banks are threatening to close their branches in UK if they leave the EU.

Can anyone explain this crazy system?

The JP Morgan CEO threatened to close its UK branch, which would mean the loss of 19,000 jobs if UK leaves the EU.

Clearly, the US banks want the UK to continue to be their little puppy and stay in the EU.

It's your choice - the EU or NHS: Vote Brexit or we'll LOSE health service, warns top doc

ONE of Britain's leading doctors has joined senior political figures to warn that British voters have 50 days to save the NHS by backing Brexit in the EU referendum.

Leading consultant Angus Dalgleish has joined the battle to save the NHS
With 50 days to go to the historic vote on 23 June senior consultant Angus Dalgleish has joined Ukip leader Nigel Farage, Tory Grassroots Out and Tory MP Peter Bone, and former Labour Foreign Secretary Lord Owen in warning voters that they have a stark choice between keeping the NHS or staying in Europe.

The statements come after The Daily Express produced evidence from a leak of the documents from the EU's trade negotiations with America which proves that when agreed the NHS will be forced to compete with the private sector and other healthcare providers from America and Europe.

Among the many proposals is a decision to have a committee on state enterprises and monopolies which will meet annually to review bodies like the NHS to make sure they do not “distort the market."

This committee's membership would be decided in Brussels and Washington and would not have a specifically British representative making decisions about the NHS and other state providers of services.

Nigel Farage has urged voters to vote Leave to save our free healthcare system
Another clause states: “The parties acknowledge that anti-competitive business practices and state interventions have the potential to distort the proper functioning of markets and undermine the benefits of trade liberalization."

Mr Dalgleish, one of the top cancer specialists in Britain, told The Express: “It will be a free for all. The NHS will have to compete with health care providers not just from America but also Europe.

“It is already virtually bankrupt so it would not stand a chance.

“Voters basically will have a choice between keeping the NHS or remaining in the EU."

Mr Farage said: “There are 50 days to save the NHS. Huge American corporations want to use TTIP to get their hands on the NHS so they can asset strip it for profit.

The only way to protect ourselves from the effects of TTIP is to vote to leave the EU
Nigel Farage
“The NHS is about our national health not the private wealth of US corporates.

“The only way to protect ourselves from the effects of TTIP is to vote to leave the EU's political union.

“I would urge people to speak to their friends and family, present the facts on the costs of EU membership and convince them to vote Leave."

He added: “Decisions about our NHS should be made by us, those that rely on it, not those that want to profit from it."

TTIP could force the NHS to compete with private sector providers
Mr Bone said: “The plans by the EU and United States to either privatise or dismantle the UK's National Health Service are outrageous.

“These trade talks have taken place in secret and now we know why. Remaining in the EU is the greatest risk our NHS has ever faced.

“The only safe option, the only way we can ensure the NHS is not broken up is by voting to leave the EU.

“It is just 50 days until the EU referendum. We have 50 days to save our NHS."
Peter Bone has slammed the TTIP negotiations
Lord Owen, who is a former health minister and supported staying in the European Community in 1975, has already warned that the TTIP negotiations would wreck the NHS.

He said that the papers revealed by the Dutch branch of Greenpeace have confirmed his worst fears.

He said: “No one can justify the secret trade negotiations the Commission have signed up for in TTIP. Despite protests little has been done to redress its errors.

“No regard for the social purpose of healthcare and the erosion of health as a Member State responsibility. The EU/Eurozone from 1992, in marked contrast to the old European Community of 1975, creeps into every nook and cranny of our life.

It is now becoming entrenched in the NHS and this June we have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get [it] out. If we vote Leave - we will be able to protect our NHS from EU interference."

ghostgeek: It's too depressing to contemplate. I read in the paper that ISIS is developing chemical weapons to deploy in Europe. With Turkey given free access to Europe, ISIS will be able to gas any city on the Continent. It wouldn't be so concerning if they only went after politicians, but that will never happen. Those politicos spend a fortune in taxpayers' money making sure they're safe.

ghostgeek: I see that Brexit could spark the collapse of the European Union, at least according to Moody's credit agency. It seems the EU is now so fragile that even a "small" crisis could threaten it's sustainability. This comes on top of European Council president Donald Tusk warning that the Brussels dream of a European superstate is an "illusion" that should be stopped. And the arch drunkard, Juncker, has said that there are too many "part-time" Europeans who concentrated too much on their national intersts rather than serving the EU.

So what is the killer reason for voting to stay in the EU, given that so many people think it's going to collapse? Is it all about not being able to stop European killers coming here to carry on their trade?

I think the UK was partially responsible for setting up the EU. I think Germany might leave the EU and create a more sound economic union with Austria, Switzerland and France.

The Danglo bankers want the Brits to stay in the EU, so you can "pay for bankruptcy of the other nations."
