TheCovenant: The Court House,

Are you police officers?

We are special constables.

Your patches say you are metropolitan police. Not Court Services, not officers of the court, not bailiffs and not sheriffs. I have been to the Soviet Union and you want to explain the law to me, you are out of uniform and thus outside of the protections of the Court.

Even when I was in uniform I never had the protection of the Queen. And you say "special constables" like they are magic words. Make it so, hors la lois.

With enough in justice and lies, society breaks down into open rebellion. Were is the Magna Carta?

Your Lordship and Worship, Police belong on the other side , of the table, not in the middle. Police in the middle is a Soviet proceeding, if you ever bothered to learn anything in law school.

TheCovenant: The RCMP don't want to testify again at the Nova Scotia mass shooting, because the don't want to be traumatized again. These guys are punks. I would give my left nut just to be traumatized.
Who taught him how to kill and evade contact like that? Swats, JTF 2, the Forces? Once you sow one time the next time it gets easier and easier.Well we know his motto is not to serve and protect. Cut off the RCMP's hands so they Can never salute again. Your welcome.

TheCovenant: I miss the old timers from world war 2. Not the west, but the east. These guys were realistic and understood hardship and fierce odds. Everything comes to easy for the baby boomers and beyond in the west. They know everything but experience nothing.
These easterners guys understood that you could not buy allegiance and loyalty with torture, death and deceit. You can only lie to someone for so long to be their friend until they wise up. You have my parole only as long as you are able to torture and cripple me, and you have the backing and control of the army and the police. Until that day, I can promise you a reckoning that you will not live long enough to regret.

TheCovenant: I think there is a miss understanding about the purpose of a .45 caliber handgun. It won't stop intruders, a good locksmith and a bit of patience will get you into any door, besides it takes to long to put the gun together and load it to be effective against intruders. You cant go tow to tow with a platoon of swats, you'll just get it in the knee and get raped in prison. You can't raise insurrection against the military and a tank with a 45. so a 45 is pretty much useless, except... in the event that the van pulls up in front of the house, you might have just enough time to escape another wrap. Only hypocrites think that suicide is cowardly in the face of torture, having never experienced it.

Metaverseguy: My neighbor has a firearm, and he drinks. I definitely do not enjoy the second amendment. Especially since he has joked about the value of my life. I'm looking for a new place. In California you're required to keep your firearm in a locked safe. But I think he just keeps it under his pillow. It's definitely no fun wondering if he's going to go mental and just fire into your apartment while you're sleeping because he'd be better off in jail.

margaret32: What you describe actually happened to English guy staying in US hotel, bullet went through window. He was in bed, was stray bullet they think. Also happened to guy sitting having a drink in British nightclub, shot in back of the head. He wasn't even the target just some poor innocent guy. They should be locked up for life, then eternity in hell. Hell is more likely than life.

TheCovenant: Yes guns can be a bit problematic, and dangerous.

Heinlein wrote that an armed society is a polite society.

Americans often wrongly observe that Canadians are some of the most polite people on the planet, where in actuality they are just bald faced liars.

Canadians are perhaps the most duplicitous and two faced people on the planet. They are just plain arseholes and will try to fuck you over at the slightest self advancement or provocation. This includes people whose sworn duty is to help you to the utmost, lawyers, doctors, nurses, social workers and police in particular.

It is very hazardous to be an arsehole in the face of an armed individual as the consequences can be severe. Which is why gun control is so popular in Canada, as it both exhibits a self preservation mentality while at the same time allowing arseholes to flourish.

Even the RCMP have had it up to here with these arsehole Canadians and started blowing away these punks in droves.

Only the names and faces have been changed to protect the guilty.

And by the way every western sergeant I ever met, over here or there all took a swing at me, except for one sixer. Aside from my father, he was the only friend who helped me in any significant way.
That asshole called me a soldier(up yours militia man), there is never a psychiatrist around when you need one a lieutenant.

Going after dishwashers now A, I dont even know a Soviet that would have the balls to do that.

TheCovenant: how about pens, I like carrying around pens, when i was an engineer people thought it was quaint and nerdy. Now that I have been tortured and drugged, people assume its lethal and try to fuck with me, i just take notes and laugh. to quote absence of malice: "prove that its a weapon".fuck em right back. 31flavours of basken robbins are falling from the sky, any minority who has survived the great pharmacalogic advances shit storm of the 70s and 80s still cringes about that time. a pen could be a weapon, and with 50 million dollars i could go into outer space. could should, would. An rcmp officer could go nuts and kill 20 people. thats 20 more kills than me so far. and one less than my psychiatrist who sent me to twist resort.

my doctor looked me straight in the eye and said this lithium chalk from the 50s is the best we have, and by the way it will destroy your kidneys, without blinking. the man is a sociopath.
A psychiatrist is a investigator , prosecutor and judge all rolled into one. depending on your past ' 'behaviour' ' he will punish you with mind destroying psychotropics. the first words out of your mouth when you see your psychiatrist is, "do i need a lawyer".
