An example of a manipulated and indoctrinated mindless 'Patriot'

junyabee: To let you folks know how bad it is with the GENERAL POPULACE, beyond the asshole pols.

I was on base at Langley and stopped in the Commissary to get some dairy refreshment. They were checking ID's at the door, which made me roll my eyes. On my way out I asked the gal who checked me why were they checking ID's. I was expecting to hear, 'keeping non-dependents out', but the gal said with intense conviction, 'To prevent ISIL fighters from coming in the store and blowing it up (she had no weapon or martial arts training to stop such an attack that would have to come over a back fence since the security people at the gates are packing the latest M-15's!!)

It's the DUMBED and easily scared sheople populace that makes those assholes pols credible..

Where's POL POT when we need him??!!

Pol Pot would have had you lined up first because of the simple fact that you can read.

junyabee: Very true.. Admittedly AND culpably relative..

The PERSECUTION CONTENDS:
Here's a gal who think she's doing her NOBLE duty stopping ISIS fighters when she's neither armed nor trained to stop the very thing she professes to be doing, and seems to have no consciousness of that reality... Extrapolate that to the rest of her cultural life, and I, knowing I'd be on Pol Pot's hit list, would be better self-conscious of my mindset for its potential consequences, than this culturally brainwashed pawn and spawn-womb.

Pol Pots are less feared by the gullible and naive, than the cynical, such as me

Anon makes a plea ...but its not clear what he wants others to do...as it seems clear writing to their Congressman or Senator is n't going to work I guess democracy was the first victim.

junyabee: I'd suggest a de facto caste system that has its social construction that puts people into categories, which they have allowed themselves, mostly unwittingly. In those caste they put themselves in a position (karma) for the fate of their on-going logic. Some of the caste become pawns and tools for other castes that have a functional predatory relationship due to the inherent vulnerabilities and fallible aspects of the 'qualities' of the caste

Imagine a land of plenty where everyone has enough to do what ever he chooses as best he can but where he has to do something.

Peoples work and ideas sometimes are successful and sometime don't do so well.

In to that world come people who get personal pleasure out of attacking others and the better the person is the better attacker feels about his attacks.

There is no caste system and the only on going logic is the money....but the system will fail as well as the one you post about.

junyabee: @duncan124, So YOU say (PROJECTING(?)--> in to that world come people who get personal pleasure out of attacking others and the better the person is the better attacker feels about his attacks)

THE thesis is that people have been deluded into believing that even 'an honest effort' has its redeeming value, such s the lady gatekeeper at the door of the commissary. In fact, she and others like her have been brainwashed as much as the fictional Manchurian Candidate, or the proverbial, straw-men, 5th column, deep mole who serve ends beyond their best (or worst) intentions. Their entire existence preps and substantiates that role of the perfect, witless pawn. Your 'Peoples work and ideas sometimes are successful and sometime don't do so well' is the resigned acceptance of the apparent and superficial, while not looking at the effct of the person and the affects transmitted to collateral subjects. 'Shit may happen, but it's more tan random coincidence, but part of 'the matrix' of what would happen under certian premises of thought

It might have been that in the past there were other worst threats which just scored higher and I seem to remember in a similar poll that President Reagan scored about the same as a threat.

I seem to remember that then the Judges said 'We ( the wealthy ) are not carrying the burden of those people ( the never do wells )". By a twist of the US legal system it in the end came out much as expected and the US citizen should not work/help/agree(like) with the Police.

As obviously the Police were hating at the poor most of all and the poor were second after the President it was obvious that the US had no solution to its problem which is now called Hate.

As pawn operatives of the Wealthy, the police, as well as other mavens of order and stability are the constructive buffers separating 'those people' from coming across the lines of control set up for those in the corrals of entitlement. So the most ruthless-the criminals-take the weakest and most vulnerable at the margins, while 'Those others' seethe in disorganized disaffection

junyabee: Got finished watching Ben Affleck's 'Gone Girl'. Besides the excruciating exasperation with the main characters, the malleability of the easily affected dumbed crowd reflects the tone of the voice of that gal, standing as an over-reactive, under-trained or under-equpped door guard agaist 'invading ISIS killers' into that military supermarket

dennygringo56: It's the third of July. Two hours and twenty minutes to the fourth. I think I'll drink about a fifth of JD. I used to live in the U.S. (For fifty two years, since '63). Now I'm living in Honduras. Not by choice. I was exiled. Deported. Yup, I was born in Honduras and lived most of my life in the U.S. Never naturalized because I never anticipated the relatively new immigration laws. Even honorable service and discharge from USMC didn't stop Homeland Security from ousting my ass. I can't seem to get used to saying the Americans. I keep saying WE or US. I don't care what anybody says, I'm coming back by hook or by crook. Fourth of July and I'm in Honduras. Sucko!

You give service that is NOT EVEN patronized, while she gets to be a little martinet setting that the tone of attitude for others.. A testament to how this country has been run ever since the time of your Napoleonic exile

R E B E C C A: Yeah that stinks after you have contributed to the economy for so long. America was warned that their trade policies would result in massive poverty and immigration from mexico , To just kick you out after so long thats very bad.

The girl at the store was probably just following orders from her employer. we had a police memo sent to work that said "be on the look out" for anyone who might be likely to become terrorist???? Could that be any more vague?! Still, I wasn't aware they carried id cards I think this memo is what is meant by upping the security level to "severe" ,

junyabee: @Rebecca.. Given those orders to check are one thing. To have the naive belief that ISIS jihadis, after either blasting through the gate sentries who have the latest M2/M15's or more likely climbing a remote unguarded fence (or even coming off the Chesapeake Bay, amphibiously) and then to by-pass now more high quality and vulnerable targets to go to the surrounded middle of the base complex to take out the Base grocery store and their clientele goes more than defying credibility but knocking on the door of delusion, since she was seemingly not trained to fight or in training shape, let alone unarmed to do more than duck and cover, if not a suicide tackling delay on the ISIS invaders of the Commissary
